Can't do so with Handheld titles due to the system only holding one account at once. So you can't gameshare Vita games like you can PS3 ones.

For all the shit I give you about All-Stars...

Good taste.

Lol. Thank you! I'm still playing through most of that stuff in small bursts. Some of them, like Monster Hunter and Tactics are brutal time sinks. This 4 day weekend from work has been great for catching up, though!

We still need to settle our grudges in All Stars (in which I'm thoroughly prepared to be stomped by whoever your main is! Lol)

There hasn't been any updates on the Hulu Plus app, has there? I remember it was announced at E3, but it hasn't been released yet.

I don't think so. I thought it was supposed to hit this year, but maybe they're saving it, or perhaps it's just still in certification?

I only buy a few Vita games, but I don't use it as much as a lot of people in this thread. It's great when I need it, but I'm usually playing my PC.

I need to buy Persona though.

Wait until Kat comes out, then I can decimate you with the best character that should have been in the game to begin with. >:O

This is my own game collection. Sliiiightly different, though not by much! Only thing stopping my from dumping more is the dumb 32gb limit. Still waiting for Persona 4 in the mail!

That a good thing?

I can't tell - is this a non-negative post from TheSeks I see before me?!

Put me out of my misery :(((

It's a good and bad thing: Good is that it's longer than the console brothers. I blew through U1-3 in like 12 hours, even on Crushing. The bad is that so far the gameplay is mostly platforming more than shoot-outs. I can see that appealing to some people but I'd like an even mix than five-seven enemies in combat and then the rest of the level is platforming.

(Of course, sine the aiming is kinda herky-jerky maybe that's a good thing that the combat isn't a major focus)

And finding the treasures is nice and all but really there's too many for my taste for a portable title.

Still, I like the game because I enjoy the Uncharted series.

I see no Gravity Kat. I'm disappointed, Carl!

This is just me, but I liked the shooting in GA waaaay more than in any console Uncharted, simply by virtue of the tilt aiming. I was fighting the extra help for the longest time thinking it was needless, but then I embraced it and found myself landing more headshots than I ever had in any UC. It made such a difference that I tried the Unit 13 demo right after I beat it and was immeditately put off that it didn't have analog+tilt like GA does.

I also liked that it has more downtime sections where the characters aren't engaged in combat or being chased by anyone. Shooting the breeze with Sullly while rowing a canoe and talking about ruins with Chase with no one gunning us down was more enjoyable than I ever thought it would be.

Platinum'd and i ran out of room so had to be deleted i'm afraid. Will be re-added once i've got through some backlog (so i can do some DLC trophies)

It's such a nice colour.

I used to use the red one, as well. I miss the monthly changes, or even the day and night fade the PS3 had.

There's tilt aiming? Ugh. In any case, the tilt function for balance is okay... I guess. But the mudslide was a low point for the game. So is the hold-up-to-the-light bit. Took forever to get the game to register what it wanted.

And Uncharted isn't the only game that has aiming issues, Resistance and Call of Duty are both prone to herky-jerky aiming (CoD more so). I think it's an issue with Sony not fixing the PSP nub's dead-zone/register too little/too much issue more than anything. But if a developer nails the aiming for third/first person aiming to be smooth like the PS3, every developer needs to be banging on that developers door to get the code.

Aiming works perfectly in UC. The tilt aiming is amazing.

And I am still confused how you came to the conclusion that Prinny/ZHP were on sale now btw.

Cant believe i double dipped on a vita haha i bought a white vita so im selling my black along with psabr and assasins creed (own digital versions) :p

I think my brother might get it for cheap :p

THIS is the new vita owners OT.

Nope, thats gone.

:( Alright thanks. Well then maybe buying physical games will be better for us so we can lend eachother the copies but the shipping will be a pain in the ass since we are from south america... I guess we will see.

Prinny is my bad. It used to be $15 and was $15 for a long while to where seeing it at $9.99 made me think it was on sale. No harm for me, since it gives me the $20 back for the Thanksgiving Promotion with Persona 4 and Chinatown Wars.

Yessir, first FMV of the game. Risette with dat advertising!

I made the EXACT same screenshot :p

Ah yeah, well admittedly I could see someone in the EU being confused as well, lol. They already have half the nominal price for ZHP :( (30$ vs 15€) Hope I can pick it up next week.

Picked up the CoD bundle at Best Buy since I had a giftcard there. Will probably try to unload CoD at some point, but after what they put up for PS+ I couldn't resist anymore. Plus I have a pretty big PSP backlog to work through since my old PSP1000 was getting kind of janky.

Still not convinced about the future of this system at all, but whatever, I'm in.

I don't see how there is too many. They aren't a requirement to beat the game, just extra filler stuff for UC fans and/or trophy hunters.

UC is my first Vita game and I am blown away. This is definitely a hallmark gaming moment for me. I am so damn impressed by the quality of the system.

Can someone direct me to the new vita owners OT? ( i searched abd couldnt locate for some reason)

That or give me a run down here of games services etc

I have a good idea of what im looking to get gamewise. Dont plan to use for music/movies , nor go too digital so hopefully the 4gb will be fine. Might have to get 8-16 tho

Yeah, the mudslide controls were pretty bad. Though the tilt aiming I grew to love. You basically use the analog to get the aiming reticule to the enemy's general vicinity, then just lightly tilt for precision aiming at heads. Works like a charm and even reduce the typical "Uncharted enemies on Crushing are all bullet sponges" complaint since I was headshotting everything.

I'm now a Vita owner after the sale on Amazon. I'm not really sure if I should buy a memory card though. How much will fit on the 4GB card that comes in the bundle?

Do you need to have the game cartridge in the slot to complete PS+ automatic updates? I'd check, but I'm completely up to date.

How many GB's is persona 4? Would that be a good thing to download rather than buy the physical copy?

Also, how's pricing on the downloadable store? Does it ever have deals that outmatch what can be bought at a retail store?

Thanks

Well, yeah. Which is why it's driving me bonkers. There's like 6-10 per chapter.

You can fit 1 or 2 full games there. Uncharted for example is 3 gigs. If you don't mind retail and the occasional psn game, it should be okay, but a bigger card is highly recommended.

So I haven't actually opened mine yet but I have a question. How do game saves work with the memory card? Is there any internal storage? I'm assuming not, and if that's true is it easy to copy saves from one card to another if I get a bigger card later?

Also, since I'm PS+, can I upload saves to the cloud like on PS3? Can I do it for stuff like PS1 and PSP saves?

No internal storage that you can use for saves except on some retail carts.

Copying from one to another is relatively easy if you have a PS3/PC, very easy with PS+.

I THINK it only works with vita saves (uploading to ps+).

Can transfer ps1 and psp save files to ps3/pc - separate from the game and wirelessly now too.

With Vita games this is only possible with PS+ or if you use the trick to avoid going through an entire backup (slow) to get your vita save file. Save files are copied first - initiate transfer, copy the save file somewhere else and then transfer it back. PS+ makes things a lot easier...but quite the bastards for making it harder on everyone else atm.

What are you waiting for, open it up :P

Only 1 or 2 games? I'll probably buy a bigger card then. Probably a 16GB. Why do they have to be so expensive? :(
