It's actually published by Bandai Namco. Actually, developed by one of Tecmo Koei's teams, and then published by Bandai Namco, or something like that?

I have an 8GB card and I think its plenty. Had uncharted, motor storm rc, jet set radio, FF tactics, RE2 PS1, Cliff Diver (neatest AR game IMO), A few minis like Canabalt and Flying Hamster and a bunch of the social apps like Skype, Facebook, Twitter and Netflix.

Once done with Uncharted and Jet Set Radio I deleted and put on Gravity Rush and Wipeout.

4GB is the only card I'd say is too small. 8GB is perfectly fine for me.

I'm making do with 4GB until sometime next year when the 32GB card is more reasonably priced. It's enough to play the download version of P4G and the card version of AC3L that came with my Vita.

Yes you are correct since it's One Piece (Bandai got the license for that..dat Oda bank account),but it's still a musou game and won't even exist without Koei call I think.

So whats the verdict on Uncarded? Worth the 5 bucks? I can't seem to find any reviews :/

I play a shit ton of Magic and have played a ton of other card games in the past. And I love the hell out of Uncharted. But I don't want to buy this if its a dud :(

What TCG is Uncarded most like?
Tough to answer. it takes a few staple elements (costs to play cards, equip stats, trap cards) and blends them together really well. It also manages to give some mechanics it's own twist (betting money on a fight) making it feel rather distinctive instead of being a carbon copy of another game.
Also, it's not a TCG or CCG, since deck management is not the most important factor and rather subtle. Played it for almost 4 hours straight last night (impressions linked on the last forum page) and reflecting on it... I think this game is very recommendable.

I wouldn't say that the DLC are immediately needed if you don't feel like dropping cash on them atm. The single player content ofhe base game will keep you plenty busy and has more than enough unlockables and fights to see how you are liking it.

For 5 bucks? This is a game that everyone should buy that has even a remote interest in card games.

More impressions by me:

All the other smaller impressions in this thread were basically "I actually like it".

It´s really fun and addicting. The card game works really good, but the Uncharted part is a bit underwhelming (IMO). Uncharted does not have figures that stand out enough.. so some of the people on the cards are strange..

But the card game itself is really good and well worth your money..!

I'm one of those people who compulsively buys random card games at his comic book store, so I'm used to playing around with cannon I have no previous context for.

It just means I can create my own meta stories.

and would you recommend it solely on the merits of the card game even if the person has no interest in the uncharted series and in general doesn't enjoy the uncharted series... but doesn't mind the main character to uncharted... though they don't really know any of the other characters?

you love Uncharted and love card games? this is a must!

Definitely. Its a good "CARD" game, even without the Uncharted tie in. The question is really just whether someone likes card games or not. If you do -> buy it.

Yes .. the card game is really good and fun. It would work just as good if it was with characters from another game-universe..

If you are looking for a fun card game just buy it... if you are looking for an Uncharted game, don´t bother with this game. That is my opinion..

Going back to the case topic that was brought up after a lot of people grabbed the Amazon AC Vita Bundle. Picked up this case from Amazon for $8.75 and couldn't be happier:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0073ESYZO/?tag=neogaf0e-20

A lot of the complaints that some of the customers had in their reviews no longer exist. The case is much more solid and well constructed than I was expecting. I was looking for an extremely minimal case and this fits perfectly. No annoying branding on the outside either. Just extremely functional. Protects the Vita, room for games and the adapter if I ever travel with it. I wasn't expecting the room for the adapter, was hoping it would be snug with the vita but the built in bands hold the vita in place nicely. Great value.

I'd say card games fans should get The Eye of Judgment :Legend(PSP) instead of Uncharted.

but then again that game is still in a crazy full price ($30) lolz.

ah good to hear. I am in no hurry to play a card game right now as I am still burning my way through magic 2013 so I will likely just wait until uncarded is free on plus mid to late next year to play it.

I really want to get it at some point, but considering UC is $5 in native res with online MP, UC:GA integration (if you have the game) and trophies? Uncarded is definitely the more recommendable card game atm.

How are trophies in Ucarted ? Easy to get without paying ?

Without paying? You can get all the trophies in the base game, the DLC adds a few trophies but you wont see them without playing them.

Other than that, the trophies will require you to play the game. It took me 4 hours to get about 21% of the base game trophies. I assume to play through it all, maybe 20-30 hours.

For me it is enough. I have Uncharted plus Blob and Stardust for a diversion on it.

Remembering PSP times I collected huge amounts of games on the card and the more games I had the less I played. So now when I pick up my Vita it is for playing Uncharted.

Should I really want to play something else I switch on PS3 or iPad (sometimes PC or iPhone). I see no need to have two different GTAs on the machine at the same time (like the guy in the pocketgamer rant).

Do people really play that many games at the same time? I mean different genres for some diversion, OK, but 8GB or 16GB should still be fine. No need to carry around Walking Dead, Yesterday and Broken Sword, like I do on my iPad (I have enough space there but it makes no sense for me).

Really, since I lost that collectors mentality, I play more games and use less time filling memory cards.

Aaaaand Uncarded is bought! :D

I'm know officialy overwhelmed with awesome games on my Vita haha

Hehehe tried a search for "Uncarded" on the Vita store was already getting annoyed thinking that our store was shafted for some absurd reason then went to the "Recent" tab and found Uncharted Hunt for Fortune. It's your fault Toma! ;)

Feel free to add me psn id corto1976

I will play a bit of the single player to get a hold of the gameplay and then venture on multiplayer.

Oh oh, my OT banner wont help with that I guess :P

all Uncarded players, in MP, play the Ranked match, we need more players!

I'll play more ranked matches as soon as I got more stuff in UC:GA,lol.

Question though, do friendly matches with people on your friends list count towards the ranking? Anyone knows?

Uhhhh...geesh. That's a little uncalled for.

Don't forget to update the YouTube app.
Channels, subscriptions, search filters, sorting options, subtitles, etc.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/12/03/youtube-for-ps-vita-update-to-version-2/

Yeah, it's actually quite amazing. I depend on subscriptions and have about a hundred, so this update was incredibly helpful for me. I especially like being able to browse my subscription videos WHILE watching a video, which I can't do on any other console/mobile platform that I know of.

no, I don't think so, there would be lots of cheating if that is the case lol

You guys are tempting me with Uncarded. Are all of you guys big card game fans? Never really played one before, so not sure i will enjoy it.

Wait a minute, in EU store there's Sega All Star Racing Transformed O_o
Wasn't the game delayed?

Who's going to be the guinea pig? Anyone will buy it? There's even no screenshot at all...

See, this is my problem. I've never even PLAYED a trading card game, so I feel like I probably wouldn't like it. At the same time, I don't want to rule it out, because I could end up loving it, and I love the Uncharted series.

If you never really played one, I'd argue that a rather accesible $5 purchase addition to your spreadsheet is worth to find out!

Its not really a trading card game because the focus isnt on deck management (which is the most complicated part about TCG), making this way more accessible. And see above.

I have only played The card games in Final Fantasy (and tried the Magic game that was free with Plus, but didn´t like it).. and I really like the card game here..

Thinking about getting the Gravity Rush DLC's. Yay or nay?

They are decent, the story mission in Maid and Spy are good, Military not so much, get if you want more stuff for your GR.

they should've made them with new locations and focus only on story mission and relese it as one big dlc,but then again the team floating moe are like 5 people.
