Thank you, Noi.

Toma, these are pretty horrible, but I tried two attempts with paint park.

Again, for consideration of Wild Arms. :)

I believe you were thanked for being easy to gift for.
Not having copies of the two games you kept telling people to buy? Well, that problem solved itself. :D

Those Mouse drawing skills.

I hope you like your gifts ;)

Idk if your codes work for Canada but assuming they do entry for alundra.
If not enjoy my terrible art regardless.

I'm left handed using a right handed mouse and it's a mouse lol. Oh well, it was fun! I should mention that I couldn't pick a favorite so I just picked one I am loving.

Oh cool, sorry I skimmed through your post.

That's very generous of you.

I actually played all the Wild Arms games but I owned them physically. So, I actually want Alundra because I played it briefly when it came out, actually, I was gonna buy it the other day but Dokuro took my money.

Here's my contribution, I drew something a while back, if that counts:
scaled.php

And may the odds be ever in my favor.
I hope I win the Alundra code, lol

Well might as well try my luck with Wild Arms. Alundra I bought yesterday and I never played Wild Arms. I only really grew somewhat interested in it cause people were wanting a WA character for PSASBR and I do have kind of a soft spot for PS1 era RPGs.

0Pmee.png

Guess the game.

Maybe I should join the Alundra lets play thread and prostpone playing it for next month.

Am I late for the Alundra party....get it? Heh, here is a quick and dirty doodle.

Okay here's my entry, sorry for the size. Wild Arms would be great or Alundra.

yes, its a screen grab from Draw Something. :P

As the following picture will show, I'm not an artist. I couldn't settle for one game. :X

I've always wanted to try out Wild Arms, since "western" RPGs are pretty rare, and I'd gladly contribute to a thread about it.

don't want to participate in the giveaway but here's my entry

Everyone buy Mega Man Maverick Hunter X and Prinny 1!

Props for whoever knows which Wipeout track is that (I don't know if it's very clear with the lack of details)

Edit: Ah yeah, me wants some Alundra!

Done in the Vita's Colors! app. Drawing on a touchscreen is weeeird.

All these people drawing their favorite Vita titles makes me jealous.
So even though this isn't an entry, here's my personal favorite title:

gIiat.png

I know it's terrible, but that's what 15 minutes in MS Paint will give you.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus was my first Ninja Gaiden title. I enjoyed it so much that I borrowed a friend's Xbox to play Black and II. Amazing, rewarding combat, even if the protagonist (and art/music) is slightly generic.
Black is now my favorite action title, barely beating out DMC3.

Also BUY NINJA GAIDEN SIGMA PLUS

these old Vita PlayStation Store games need a permanent and a huge price drop, they are either launch title (2/13/2012) or got released in launch window(first 3 months).

Army Corps of Hell $39.99 (launch title)
Disgaea 3 $39.99 (16/April/2012..launch window)
Dynasty Warriors Next $34.99 (launch title)
FIFA Soccer $39.99 (launch title)
F1 2011 $39.99 (launch title)
MJ The Experience $35.99 (launch title)
Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus $34.99 (20/feb/2012,Vita 2nd Week)
Shinobido 2 $34.99 (20/Feb/2012 Vita 2nd Week)
Supremacy MMA $39.99 (26/March/2012)
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom $39.99 (launch title)
Virtua Tennis 4 $39.99(launch title)

I mean, come on this pure incompetence and not how you do DD prices for old games.

$40 for Virtua Tennis now should be a crime. Sony and MS don't even need to worry about Apple, they're not going to make it that far if they keep these digital prices going like this.

I agree, $19.99 or less for all of them as you can get the retail versions at great prices.

You might get it on some of those, but there are others you won't.

Disgaea 3 has a lock on the SRPG market. People who want that game will pay the premium if they want it digitally. I doubt it will drop anytime soon, especially if NISA didn't discount it during their recent sale and ZHP (niche PSP title) only just got a store price drop to the price GS has been selling it at for I don't know how long.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma + and UMvC3 are similar as well.

NGS+ is the only real action game on the market, and while I agree with you completely, as I don't think the game is worth $35 at 30fps to start with, I think with NGS2+ coming, they *really* need the discount on the first title to help drum up some interest. Will they do it though? My instinct says no, though they could discount it this week or next week (but they won't permanently until NGS2+ releases and even then, it's not a given.)

And as for UMvC3, ask yourself when the last time Capcom discounted anything digitally was. Seriously. (They did a SFxT costume pack discount and before that, maybe a SSF4AE costume pack discount at some point, but I couldn't even tell you when that was.) Getting their games to go on sale digitally on Steam is a miracle of sorts.

Again, don't get me wrong... I'm a huge proponent of cutting digital prices to get the software in people's hands. Publishers should offer a discount (and a decent one at that, more than 10% even) because they know they'll never have to deal with that purchase taking revenue from them in the form of a used sale. But these people are not in touch with their userbase most of the time and while you and I and other GAFers think this is a good approach, the corporate overlords see no benefit in this approach, only lost profit since they're selling for less.

As the post above me states, you can get a physical copy for less than that in all cases ($25 or less in most cases) and some of those sales might end up being a used game sale of which the publisher sees $0 come to them.
And since most of those games don't have online passes (I think?), there's no chance for revenue after a used sale either.
Missed opportunity.

That said, let's hope the US sale update today has some hefty discount on some titles we all want!

Sometimes is hard to keep track of what present belongs to whom. I've been running 4 different secret santas (2 of which I gift more than one person) at the same time. Things get a bit jumbled. You guys arent the only person inbought a game for, and got one in return!

Grats art winners ^-^ We really should do random art days or something.

lol toma you forgot me too in the overall list, I know Canadians are invisible but geeze j/k

That's not a sale!
Based on my experience with the demo, that should've been MSRP (at best).

Is the Vita rear camera supposed to be this noisy/grainy?

Yeah, they're very low res. The front and back are the exact same. It's really just meant for augmented reality since it has 60-120fps cameras, but I still wish they were better quality.

Those are some awesome drawings!

:lol My Kat (or Kat in general) is a dick. When gravity shifting you pick up civilians, half the time as I'm flying around the city the civilians will be dragged along until they're over the void and... WHOOSH!

I had little care for civilians while playing myself. I was always careful not to pick up dogs though because I felt bad after the first time. I also enjoyed kicking apart garbage cans until they burst and you could see he garbage bags inside. There was no point to it I just love how much shit can be destroyed in the cities, fences, water towers etc etc.

Imagine all those confused citizens. "lookit kat using gems to fix our broken down shit, she's a hero... why is she jump kicking a lamp post?"

I'm just contributing to them being taken by the gravity storm. Care? What is that?

You all did a great job with the artwork! I couldn't hope to even come close to some of those.
UK Vitabros, Wipeout 2048, Rayman and Lumines are £4.91 each at PC World/Currys online to collect in store. You might get lucky with stock at a store near you.
Wow, that's a steal! A shame I don't like in the UK.

Probably already posted but Sony is gifting 4 awesome minis on facebook for christmas: https://apps.facebook.com/ps-xmas-vouchers
You just have to like their page for the first mini, sharing a status on facebook, tweeting about it and registering your email for the others, I think you can use fake ones so no big deal.

Italy is not in the countries list but I picked a random one and it worked just fine.

JUST got my 32GB in the mail. Went to retrieve my saves from the cloud and...ERROR 80101005; Could not copy! I got less than and hour and a half before I head for work. Was hoping I could load some stuff while attending to getting the day ready. :(

Edit:I think I see what the problem was....I have to start every game/app and download any updates to the new card BEFORE downloading my saved data. At least that was the case for Need for Speed:MW. ........could be worse I guess.....¬_¬

Nice job on the paint jobs!

Merry Christmas to you all! Enjoy your new Vitas if you just got it.

Spats and others, send those pics to yosp on twitter. He likes this kind of stuff!

Thats actually rather neat since I wouldnt buy it otherwise.

Probably getting Unit 13m RCR of course and DN F for the PS3. I'm sure I can get 10 bucks worth of entertainment out of it.

All right! RCR! I will go to the store and buy MK Vita retail then.

edit: I didn't even see MK Vita! SUPER sale! Woot

I'm down for Hot Shots, MGS Collection and Unit 13. Maybe even Journey so I can see what all the fuss is about even though I hate the "games" that come from that studio.

Looks like Retro City Rampage is our free PS+ game today

Man I seriously hope there's more than that and they just haven't unveiled them yet. This is after all just a list of the new sales.

Wow, SCEA has completely crushed SCEE in sales this holiday.

I blame it on the loss of Ross and Andy.

In other news, just picked up my £5 copies of Lumines and Wipeout. Boomaloom.
