Figured Id ask here.

Does Peace Walker digital ever go on sale or is that 30 bucks pretty much the norm?

I just learned (thanks for a friend) about the method to get your Peace Walker HD save from a PS3 to the PSP format and then transferred to Vita.
I want to take it a step further and try tranferring my old PSP save to the PS3 and then from the PS3 to the Vita but I need PW digital to see if it works.

It's been $20 a few times. Honestly, the game was released in 2010, it should be $10-$15.

Guys what the hell happened to my vita o_O
I kept trying to turn it on but it wouldnt, it would only flash blue slowly on the PS button
Now I finally turned it on and its in safe mode?

Happened to me three/four times in two months already. Freaks me out but atleast is isn't harmfull. Just a freeze. :P

Yes. Like Takao says, IAP are no problem. The problem is PSM can't handle games like Dead Trigger. It's not because of the hardware it supports - the weakest PSM-compatible device is Xperia Play and that handles Dead Trigger fine. It's just because the SDK doesn't support a lot of things modern mobile 3D games are doing, which is frustrating.

Ah thanks I see, any word if they are working to improve it? Guess it won't be fast.. I'm surprised more F2P games haven't made their way to PSN yet...maybe Sony has quite strict requirements..?

Also, do you know if PSM games can detect that they are being installed/run on a Vita and so to set different options and settings specific for it? Not that they'll need to now if you can't get more 3Dish games to run. (Thanks for clearing that up as well, I guess the phones are getting quite beefy now, PSM needs to catch up a bit with what it can support...).

The only PSN restrictions would be dev kit costs, and ratings fees. The last one is becoming irrelevant as many ratings boards are now offering official ratings approval for free.

We know they're working on things like getting trophies and PSN integration in there (or they've at least said they're thinking about that), so presumably those things will come soon. I don't know why more F2P games aren't on there, but I also don't know why more games period aren't on PSM. Like most things, Sony hasn't really marketed PSM at all.

About detecting different devices, I don't know for sure, but I would be shocked if it didn't support that functionality. We know they can at least detect whether you have buttons or not (since some PSM games offer button control).

Yeah, I wish it was much cheaper since I already own the UMD. Its hard to justify another 30 bucks.

Thanks for the info, though. Ill hold off and watch for a sale.

I hope that means we'll get some of the more successful and impressive mobile games on the Vita eventually, especially with developers who are pumping out quite a few. More so the 3D games than the 2D ones, since they tend to drain phone battery and take quite a lot of focus to play and would be smarter/worth having on Vita.

There are so many games being made....need to give the Vita more love. We don't just have to have hench and deep titles. But their pricing on Vita is a little on the steep side...hopefully that will go down too with some decent userbase growth....I'm really counting on that price drop but I feel like Vita needs at least one more major system seller in the first half of 2013 to re-spark things (people liking some new/recent games and all - and of course loads more ads, like way more). Need a GTA that won't coincide with GTA 5 or maybe Saints Row.. ( :'( ) - Even that South Park game being made Vita exclusive could do it.. did they already sell THQ's games?

I'm also worried about this thing I'm hearing with killzone games and input lag..that would be pretty terrible.. (I never played any killzone games before (after trying their demo I do remember feeling the aiming was much more difficult than with COD for example, maybe that was due to a delay..) but yeah I'm obviously going to try killzone mercenaries since it's on Vita....and looks pretty wicked). Won't be great if there is a delay or lag though.

Hopefully people pay attention/want things for a lot longer these days.. - maybe since broke and all. Glad xbox and ps4 are still a ways off.

That is awesome about the trophies and PSN but I don't think that's enough... they need to be able to support the larger and more impressive games or else people will just get the smaller/simpler games for their phone since it will cost less and they tend not to justify carrying around a Vita for. I know some of you guys really enjoy some of the PSM games especially by Futurlab and they are nice to accompany the other Vita games and also other people who don't have a game capable phone will probably feel the same but we'd be missing out.

I remember now like you said PSM games can differentiate between devices with buttons (if they want to), guess that should be enough but would be nice to set different graphical options automatically for the Vita if there would be a noticeable improvement...not much point currently I guess, lemmings is like the only "3D" game on there?

LEGO: Legends of Chima - Laval's Journey coming to 3DS, and Vita in Summer 2013. DS version is scheduled for Fall 2013.

How many games do TT and TT Fusion make in a year.

Oh God that means it's going to be even worse than normal.

Lego Batman 2... you could have been soo good on my Vita. :(

I'll never play a touch based Lego game until someone tells me it's significantly better than Lego HP. I got the iPad version when it was cheap last year and it controls horribly whereas I had no trouble with the PS3 games.

I really wish they'd have ported the console engine and not the mobile one.

wb has been so kind to Vita:

LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7
Mortal Kombat
LEGO Batman 2
Spy Hunter
LEGO Lord of the Rings
LEGO: Legends of Chima - Laval's Journey

we should be thankful that a western third party is treating vita with so much continued support

I own none of them.
All but one (maybe two) of those games were made by TT Fusion. How many games do they make in a year.

How many of the Vita LEGO games were actually good?

they do know if it is on vita, problem is that psm (mono) isnt optimized that well. the xperia phones can get better performance currently.

Reindeer Pole Jolt - new extreme sport.

err...

Real Pic January. You use your face as your avatar.

That sounds like it would be a PS Mini game released on Nov 17 in order to celebrate the holidays.

I can imagine the write up for that game...

Street vs Juggle isn't bad, per say... it's just too slow. 2013 is supposed to fix that, but I don't really like the Juggleken cast enough to continue to play it. *shrug*

And Cody's alt-outfit wasn't given to me for free for buying it day one on PSN, so fuck Capcom. :(

what does that even mean

zexal is the newest yu-gi-oh animu and the games always use the animu skin

the problem is that despite zexal running for like 2 years now they haven't made a single game with that cast

last game was yu-gi-oh 5ds tagforce 6 on psp (yes, they made six of these on PSP) but it was japan-only

they used the assets from the tagforce games to make the XBLA game, but that was 5Ds and only on XBLA

Happened to me a few times too. I noticed that this happens more often when you have a game running and you manually turn off vita. So now I just let it turn off by itself..
Yup. As far as I'm concerned the Vita has a power button only when something goes wrong.

PS+ on Vita is just so great. I love waking up and seeing that all my games' saves that I played the previous day were automatically uploaded to cloud storage. it's just so nice.

How does this work on Vita? I set it to upload automatically though it doesn't let you pick a time on Vita and I went to content manager to select which games to upload but I never get a message that it did it each day like I do on ps3.
