So how does EDF work, are there different classes or....

I think it's just Storm 1 with standard weapons and you unlock Pale Wing (with energy weapons) by beating the final mission. No class system as with Insect Armageddon.

Ahh, well thats because im a huge Monster hunter fan and a fan of this kind of genre. Just me, but it is a pretty fun game, cmon now.
Nope no framerate issues. Graphics are okay, Nothing spectacular but not bad either. I havent come across any touch screen stuff yet, but im sure its there, BUT. I do see in the menu the options to turn "screen shake" off in the menu and some other tap screen options. But i think its optional, give you both choices.

Pretty sure I've read impressions from the Japanese version that it goes down to a slideshow like the rest of 'em when there's enough happening on the screen. Seems like that person is just in the beginning so of course the craziest armadas have yet to appear.

It's a 1 Toto out of 100 Totos kind of reply.


The B movie like presentation & style might not be everyone's cup of tea (just like not everyone likes Braindead or Bad Taste or such movies), but there's no doubt it's a mechanically sound game that is fun with friends. A bit simple, but when you have dozens & dozens of giant ants and skyscraper high robots coming at you, you'll experience something that pretty much no other game offers.

I haven't played it but what I've observed over the years is that it's "bad" like Dynasty Warriors is "bad". Extremely shallow games that are virtually the same thing each time but they hit the addictive part of some people's brains.

VC2 is a great purchase for anyone that loves the series or SRPGs in general. Is it the complete edition with all the DLC?

I kind of agree in that it's a "so bad it's good" kind of thing.
Very cheesy, very shallow, very awesome.

of course not, I know people who would be happy with a digital copy (and I never said nor implied that others didn't want a digital copy like EU got), just like I know people who were happy getting the sports games and fighters off of ps+ and people who think SCEA's offerings for plus are superior to EU's. What I want rarely lines up perfectly with what others want.

As for being lead to believe it would be offered for that cheap during the holiday sales, I don't recall it ever being listed on the PS blog, and in general the ps blog only has a faint idea of what is going on with the psn let alone anyone else lol. if the wait is that hard for a digital copy best buy still has MK for the vita on sale for $10 for a physical copy which you could sell once the digital copy actually goes on sale.

They just said "Mortal Kombat" and didn't list a platform. Both games matched the $29.99 original price. Then when it went on sale for PS3, the game was listed in the IGC on Vita with no discount shown. So yes, while it was never explicitly said to be going on sale, a lot of signs pointed to it being possible. By the time the store updated and it was only the PS3 version put on sale, my copy for Vita had already sold.

And it looks like the guys on PS blog misspoke. It was indeed a price drop, and it's not a sale. The store update post confirms it. Ridiculous. I hate you so much, SCEA.
