I just think since we're approaching kinda shitty territory it'd be best if we didn't get any more updates like that about that...incident. I wouldn't air that laundry.

EDIT New page:

Damn, this is pretty much porn at this point for me. Still can't touch my Vita, although my wife let me play Borderlands last night with a bud of mine. She is coming around.. just, very slowly.

Goodluck. Hope she's at least offering up some incentive here. If you catch my drift. nudge nudge etc.

My friend's long term GF use to cut up his stuff in his wallet if he didn't listen to her (Driver's license, Credit Cards, Bank cards etc). At the end it became a power play of hers, being used whenever he wouldn't give into every fancy.

Needless to say, at the end it didn't work out. She was a bitch and he's a douche.

Edit: Yeah I always get the top page if we start to move on from a convo. never when I crack a funny :/

Vita is dead, has no games and 2013 is barren!

Seriously, we are covered for more than a game per month for 2013 already. Really happy with that, especially as so many will last me more than a month a time.

The issue isn't the games, that's just wrongly cited as the reason the Vita is failing. The real issue is the barrier to entry created by the memory card cost coupled with the cost of the system.

Honestly, they need to cut the memory card prices in half and give the vita a nice pricecut before year's end. I'm still optimistic though.

To be real, I bought it because I found a good deal on it and a memory card. Still wouldn't touch at $250 and extra for memory card. It's exorbitant.

US & EU PSN should do a PSP sale in the same grand scale of Steam's Winter and Summer sales, they'll be making mad profits man.
Make most games 50% for regulars, and 75% off for Plussers.
Heck games that only ever had 1000 sales will be getting double that amount. Recently released games can go for a regular 1/3 price off etc.

I think the price for the system is fine (I grabbed one for 169€, christmas offer and all but still, you find it a lot for that price even now, at least here in Italy), it's so damn powerful for an haldheld, the screen is unbeaten, etc.

Memory cards HAVE to be cheaper though, I mean, 2,5€ per GB? Really? Even SSDs are way cheaper. They definitely need to get the big guns out (64GB) and cut those prices in half at the same time, as soon as possible.

How far do people get in hot shots golf, before it gets too frustrating? Ive been stuck on the silver level for awhile.

Do people use "easy " mode? Because i havent been- and dont want to resort to it At all, but may have to :(

Go to training mode to individually practice the holes that are giving you problems.

Each hole has its key areas to hit on both fairway and green... but you can only figure those out after you've played them dozens of times; training mode allows you to do this and change variables (wind, rain etc) on the fly.

ahhh ok.. yeah ive been staying away from training mode becasue honestly i dont think it is done well. theres even some UI features they could add to the game in general, such as when you finish a match you have to go back to challenge or store theres no direct replay match. but thats niether here nor there. i've stayed away from training because why do training when i can just keep playing the match and hope for the best each time til it clicks all the while getting better.

I need some help. I am having a hard time getting my last PS3 Motorstorm RC save to integrate into my PS Vita Motorstorm. Any tips?

It usually updated automatically before.

I ended up leaving my PS3 version idle in the playground for a long time -- after that, the next time I booted it on Vita, it had synced... not sure if it's taking a bit to upload from ps3 or what.

Another idea to improve your game is to go on-line and play in tourneys where you can see others' 'ghost balls' and where they drive to. You can also play one-on-one and watch other players in real time, to watch the shot power/angle/spin they are taking on their drives and approaches.

I only started to use training seriously when I wanted to get to the next level, so to speak... I had already finished all the crowns and was sitting on Level 18, but would fall flat on my face during on-line tourneys.

UK Vita users, Everybody's Golf is scanning at £7.50 in asda if your store has any in stock

Also does the online pass for it appear as a download or something in the services list? tried activating my code and nothing appeared in the download list and when i look on the store it just has the redbag next to it with no download button

Explain the low Black Friday sales?

Explain the low Black Friday sales?

Lack of/misinformation about the games worth playing on the system, poor marketing, expensive memory (though I'm not sure about this one, I don't know if cards were in the Black Friday sales in the states).

Other than that, no, I don't really have a way to explain it.

Objectively speaking, there are games worth playing on the thing, and there will be more this year.

While I agree with you that a big reason for the Vita struggling is due to it's barrier to entry, especially with their memory cards, I think the long term problem is definitely games..

Console ports, console-lite games, and up ports of PSP games? Vita definitely need games created uniquely for the Vita... Like literally... Think more Teraway and less Golden Abyss (though I enjoyed GA)

Really?

Dammit :(

Heartbreaking stuff but no worries. I haven't got a plat either. Then again I'm 100% on board as an Achievement Whore and not for trophies so I blame it on that...

P4G might be my first. If I can stomach another playthrough. I think there's nothing more boring than doing it all again. Fine game, but not something I want to do twice.

Does anyone have the PS1 version of Chrono Trigger on their Vita? I wan't to give it a try. How does it hold up? I hear people don't like the load times but they can't be that bad on the Vita, right?

Same load times you see elsewhere, unfortunately.

Thinking of a second playthrough of P4G myself. Luckily a lot of the stuff in the game can be fast forwarded. And the New Game + stuff should all make the second playthrough much faster. Will see....I am at september right now and feel like there is still a lot ahead of me, perhaps only halfway through?

Well, that's a pretty bad choice for a plat then. Because that plat is gonna take some time. And quite a lot of replaying. And a lot of fusing.

I figure just two is all I need. Luckily, that's not too terribly important to be to get a plat :P

Thanks for the reply. Is the game still enjoyable? I don't have a DS so Vita is my only option. Some people say the load times are nothing to worry about but then a few people who swear by the SNES/DS version tell me the load times ruined the game for them.

I probably should also mention that this would be my first experience with Chrono Trigger.

It is still very enjoyable (arguably one of if not the best JRPG, at least the best paced imo) and I fully recommend it if you can't play the other versions if you can handle the loading. It isn't anything gamebreaking anyway but still. It is a must play for any RPG fan.

The load times for the battles are better than FF6 in the sense that you can avoid encounters a lot of the time. However, this leads to under-leveling, since you don't get as much experience.

I thought the load times were bad enough that I was avoiding random battles whenever I could.

I did not finish my playthrough of the PSX copy.

The load times suck, but they won't break you. Especially if you don't know what you're missing.

If you've never played it before, then I doubt it'll be as distracting as it is for people like me who know what it can be at its best. Though, it never made the game unplayable for me. Still, nowadays when I have the choice of DS or PSP, I don't have to think long before choosing which version to play. But if it was only a choice of playing it on PSP or not playing it at all, I'd play it on PSP.

I should probably continue Chrono Cross on my Vita someday. It really didn't capture me like Trigger did but it isn't bad at all and I would be happy to finish it someday when hopefully I have less backlog. I didn't get too far anyway tho.

Alright, that's good. As long they aren't game breaking then I'll play it. I figure its about time for me to enjoy this classic since so many people consider it the best.

Since I don't have any alternatives I figure I should still try it out. Hopefully the loading isn't too frustrating or anything.

Yeah I hear the DS version is the ideal version of the game. But I don't have a DS atm so I guess I'll go with the PS1 version on the Vita.

Well that's good to know. I've never played it so I'll take your word. Thanks for the info.

i have it on my iphone/ipad (at least, one of them i'm not sure which). i wonder if i should play it on that rather than the ps1 version on my vita. i have also never played the game but have wanted to for a long time. hmm...

The thing I like about Chrono Trigger is how fast paced it is. You never have to grind, dungeons and town stuff is perfectly paced, and it is relatively short compared to many JRPGS. It doesn't overstay it's welcome. In fact it is one of those rare RPGs that leave you very satisfied when you reach the end and you are still hungry for lil more. Music is great too and the plot is just basic fun. It is just such a neat little package. Xenobore could take some lessons from it.
