My mouth waters at the thought of a non-half assed Vita harvest moon (and I own a 3DS!). But yeah you can play Back to Nature at least, that ones a classic.
Persona 4 really scratched that micromanagement sim porn itch. Check it out if you haven't already.

Dat fishing mini-game...still fun after the 100th time.

Dang.

PSVita Vaporwares

1. Final Fantasy X HD (dat useless 9%)
2. Warrior's Lair/Ruin (don't shift development to a more troubled studio)
3. Dragon's Crown (Atlus don't care about Vita people)
4. Dust 514 companion app thingy (lolz)
5. Guacamelee (smh@Canada)
6. Broken (they should never ever called rthe game broken)
7. Bioshock (aka Sony need to pay us)
8. Zone of the Enders HD Collection (don't hire shitty studio to do your ports)

any others?

Yup. Looking good. Hopefully it's better in motion. Did console versions run at 60 fps?

Yes. Changing it from 60 to 30 is about the only sacrifice that was made. Game looks fantastic in motion on PS3 and I'm expecting the same on Vita. Especially at native res.

I can't think of any others. I was really excited for Ruin so it pains me that it most likely isn't coming out. Dust 514 seemed like a completely useless thing that was just a throwaway to put SOMETHING on the Vita after they initially said the game itself was coming to the platform. Broken is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Guacamelee is coming, and we've known it was coming 2013 for a long time.

Guacamelee isnt vaporware and Dragons Crown isnt necessarily either. We always knew that the game wasnt far in development. And considering Sony... Warriors Lair WILL come out at one point.

I want Warriors Lair/Ruin to be good but the way it just dissapeared doesn't instill confidence. Maybe they think delaing the release by 18 months will make it more Blizzard like.

I wouldn't mind some reassurance from Atlus that the Vita release of Dragon's Crown is still happening, tho. It's all too likely/familiar that it would get scrapped to focus on PS3 instead. That game's had a troubled enough development as it is.

How is Guacamelee vaporware? There are many other games that were shown and disappeared off the radar for quite some time, then suddenly got released. :)

I caved and started persona 4. Persona 3 portable was amazing but damn this is already clearly gonna be better. Better res and graphics, actual 3d models / a character you control out of dungeons and dungeons that arnt as dull as p3 (its main weakness). Gonna really enjoy this me thinks. Glad I imported it.

The biggest improvement that P4G had over P3P for me is actually the exploration aspect. I didn't mind the repetitive dungeon in P3P too much, but that cursor quickly got on my nerves.

I want to! I'm just less inclined to do so because you don't level up (I get that it's a Zelda clone, but still) and there are a lot of puzzles, which I'm terrible at.

I thought Alundra actually had a pretty good sense of progression through the items you get and possibilties to traverse the terrain you manage to unlock. The feeling of "opening" up feels pretty damn significant. But yeah, those Zelda type games usually dont have levels ;) BUT ITS SO GOOD, PEOPLE.

I didn't mind the cursor at all (yeah, I played P3 FES as well), but the dungeons quickly got boring for me. Still haven't picked up P4G though. I almost did today but I'm waiting for it to hit $30 somewhere.

I was checking google to see if you could play Resident Evil 2 on the Vita and I noticed alot of post saying it was removed from the Vita PSN due to a glitch. Could anyone tell me if its back up yet?

Holy shit, I am on the worst fucking fight ever on Gravity Rush.
The two headed snake thing with Alias in the middle.
Absolutely beyond terrible. Moves way too fast to hit, so I'm just flying back and forth like an idiot.

And I died after all that. This is fucking awful. Why.

Why.

P4G is completely worth the $40 (and more), especially considering the insane amount of content you get. It's easily the best game I've played all year.

Fix your post! QUICK!

I know, I have P4 and I've played it at least 3 times now. Fucking love it. I just think I'd hate myself a little less if it was $30 considering I can play it on my PC (via PCSX2) at a higher res and all that. Maybe after holiday shopping I'll snag it if I can afford it.

Is there more content that P4 in P4G?

Just done it. I really hope they fix the flying combat if they make a sequel. The ground combat is waaaay stronger, but rarely an option.

There is, but not really much. For the most part it's just a new dungeon and a few small events. There are lots of small tweaks throughout the game, but small is the key word there.

From what I've heard, P4G has a considerable amount of extra content compared to P4 for PS2. I've never played P4 myself though.

I'm back! What did I miss?

Two weeks was painful but I managed to slave away at my thirteenth platinum:

Took me about 45 hours in total but several of those were me rubber-banding my sticks because of the annoying affection levels (I never took the princesses out to battle).

Edit: I'm absolutely loving NFS: Most Wanted. The physical copy took ages, the tracking never worked (EA is so impossible to work with) but it runs beautifully on the Vita. Had two co-workers of mine absolutely hooked today when they tried it.

It's in your best interest to leave this thread now before we convince you to spend even more money.

Buy a 32GB memory card. :D
Haha I'm getting one soon. I'm rocking the 8gb now which means I'm missing out on uncharted and motor storm bc they dont fit along with the other stuff I have. Also Metal Gear Collection and Rayman physical copies on the way.

I wonder what other obscure recommendations I'll pick up from this thread. ;)

Did you do it all with air combat?
That fight is super easy because you can bait an attack out by standing close...the game does an awful job telegraphing what it wants you to do though so it's either impossible or easy.

Still isn't back on vita compatability or on the psn store but i don't understand why they took it off, the problem the person complained about worked perfectly fine for me and luckily i backed it up before i deleted it and now i can play it on vita when ever i feel like it lol

Yeah fun game it finally clicked for me after about a week. Besides finding cars instead of earning Im having a blast also.

Haha, I was so mad I wasn't thinking straight.

The game is going off in a second, this fight is really fucking turd.

Obviously level up your gravity kick, special, and health as much as possible before the fight. Then gravity kick when you can and if you end up near him, hit the special button. That thing is homing, so you should take a couple weakspots out every time you use it. Back away, evade, let your special recharge.
