Is there a manual for the controls to AC:Liberation anywhere? Not just the gimmicky touch stuff but the actual layout for the buttons. They seemed to... forget... to add that under "controls" in the pause menu.

Not in the Live area manual? One of the icons on top of the screen.

live area, the book with "?" on it.

Edit: yeah many people don't know this, heck many people don't know about the scale and mapping options screen for PSP/PSone too.

Are you connected to the internet when you try to operate? Content Manager must detect an internet connection in order to work

Yes I'm connected to the internet and still it won't work. It just refuses to connect to my pc and I just don't understand it.

it's a new game, you wont get sales for it any time soon. also it worth the full price, it's a huge game full of greatness and also full of Chie awesomeness.

just go and buy it right now. and it's holiday season,I think your wife will not hurt you.

Is the digital copy cheaper? How big is the file size?

3,1GB @ $39,99.

Definitely agree with Toto though, if any game on Vita is worth it, its P4G. (Considering its a great 100hrs+ RPG that has a harder NewGame+ mode, making it a 150-200hrs RPG since you wont be able to see everything in one go.)

Vitabros. My parents got me the Sony grip and a carrying case for the vita. I'm 26 but I feel like a kid. Playing dokuro all morning. Great times all around.

The vita was an early Black Friday gift to myself. I regret nothing.

Screw the haters. The vita is great.

I've only had the game just over 24hrs is it wrong of me to say it's the best game I've played this year so soon?

I'm heading back to Inaba going to check out the sales in Junes.

Chances are its the best game 90% of people have played this year, tbh. Its a truly fantastic game. Only people that should consider NOT getting it were the ones that already played P4 (like me, and I got it another time anyway).

almost everyone here agree with me on everything (deep down you all know this) :P

Watching my brother play MGS3 (my copy) on his new Vita, I have to say: dat IQ.

Looks better than U:GA by being cleaner, IMO, at least the character models. The backgrounds in GA are amazing, though. Less effects, less skin shaders and whatever else has to be scaled back to good IQ is what I wanbt in Vita titles.

Really missing game sharing in Tekken 6 right now.

They both have the same IQ i think,U:GA is the best looking game on the VITA http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-tech-analysis-uncharted-golden-abyss

I think VT4 and Sigma+ and Wipeout shits all over Drake and Dante.
Yeah IQ-wise they definitely shit on it,devs need to understand the importance of NATIVE RES! on a handheld,it is a LOT more important than on a home console where we are sitting 10+ feet away.

I'm pretty sure it isn't,i'll try to find a source.

Edit:http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-mgs-hd-on-ps-vita
OTOH UC:GA is ONE of the best not the best looking vita game but still it looks considerably better than MGS:HD collection.

Hm weird. However, I still need to agree with the sentiment that MG looks quite a bit "cleaner" than UC does. Though UC is still more impressive for all the other technical shenanigans by a mile though.

Finally got this all fixed up. I had a driver installed that wasn't agreeing with the vita at all. Still can't seem to get off nat type 3 though.

MGS:HD collection looks good but would've looked a lot better if it was native res.
Indeed just like every damn sub native game, what's the point of such a nice screen if devs including sony's own don't use it?i say downgrade the graphics if the game budget is that low but make them run at native res with some AA and locked 30 FPS at least.

Man, Maverick Hunter X on the Vita is a whole new game. It's kind of hilarious playing the game with 0 slowdown, where playing it on a PSP, the game can slow to a crawl just on the WARNING chimes before any of the Mavericks.

Yep. I know lots of console games run at sub-HD, but for some reason I don't notice it as much as I do with sub-native Vita games.

Games like Uncharted and Gravity Rush have really nice shaders and lighting, but in the end their visual appeal is diminished by low, blurry IQ. Less complex but native-res games like NGS+, DW, and All Stars just look a lot better, and iOS games like Shadowgun look better still.

Sounds like Santa gifted you something good!

Speaking of that, are the classic mega man games available on the vita?

I hope the vita survives till fall 2014( after releasing gow and gt in that year) where sony would drop it's price to $150 which should be easy considering it's components would provide for some nice cost reduction, discontinue the 3G version and do a slider redesign with 16 GB internal memory.

Slider design wont ever happen due to games needing the backtouch, prominent examples would be games that require you to either

a) Tap on the back while playing (Like the boost in Lumines), so it cant be on the top of the slider design since your hands are on the lower part with the buttons.

or

b) "pinch" the screen and backtouch in the same spot (opening a letter in AC or moving the tee position in Hot shots), which cant be done if the backtouch is on the lower part of the slider model, while the screen is on top.

I cant think of any way to design a slider model without breaking one of these two functions.

Instead of sliding downwards, have the controls slide outwards from the side. It would be flimsy as heck though, lol.

It's sony, trust me if they want to do it they'll find a way ;)

Best looking Vita games are the native res one imo.
Especially WipEout and Stranger's Wrath.
No NGS+? wipeout uses a dynamic res BTW

Yeesh, the analog stick on the 3DS... really, really not a fan.
I wish the 3DS had some games for me,there's like 2-3 which i want and fuck all coming in the future apart from that stripped down castlevania(LOS) i guess. The hardware's quite crappy compared to the vita though, congrats on the purchase.

I've had it for almost a year and just don't like it at all. I appreciate the extra motion, and it's definitely way better than the PSP nub, but my thumb slides around on it way too easily and I don't like how a nub just moves instead of tilts on an axis. That's why, even though the analog sticks on Vita provide less motion, I feel they are much superior.

Brand New Vita owner here! Im really loving this damn thing! Gotta go pick up some accessories later.

I have PASBR and CoD Declassified, PASBR is great and CoD is surprisingly not that bad despite the complaints Ive seen on GAF

I just finished playing the demo for Ragnarok Oddessy, That was pretty fun, does anybody own it? What is your opinion on it?

Right now, Im interested in

-MGS Collection
-Ninja Gaiden Plus
-Persona 4 Golden
-Jet Set Radio
-Sonic Racing Transformed
-Ratchet Full Frontal Assault

Are there any other games I should keep on my radar? Any PSP or PS1 games you guys recommend??
