I'm in the same boat, got like 4 new games but haven't managed to get on my vita

Thanks! Had an interesting few days, 4 hours sat i A&E on Boxing Day, and fainted after a blood test this morning, lol.

What new games did you get? Have a few quid of PSN credit left over from Xmas. Don't know whether to blow it all now or save it for Ratchet and Clank next month.

I have just noticed this thread, and the Vita could become the ultimate moe/otaku kind of a system. I guess whatever helps it sell.

Sigh, I thought that when I'll try to switch accounts I will get a prompt asking me to format my memory card but I just got an error.
Couldn't even format my memory card, since after selecting that option everything was untouched and I couldn't change my account.
Restoring Vita to the default settings was enough to fix it, but I hope that switching accounts will be as easy as switching the cards now.

I played some spyro on my ps3 and it still holds up really well.

The graphics are pretty good too. Though the art style really carries it

Not to PC unfortunately. If you have a PS3 you can do the PS1 games not sure about PSP though.

Oh man i love it! I really like the atmosphere, the sense of exploration and the quiet, slow and relaxing gameplay, the only thing i find annoying are the people that close the doors
About the old school-ness, for some reason it reminds me of amiga games, so i love it even more!

Good suggestion. I beat the title back on the PSP but I wouldn't mind playing it again. It is a SOLID Megaman title.

Also anyone had a problem with their vita touching the top left of the touchscreen without you doing it? got virtua tennis 4 and the game is constantly trolling me and made me lose in a good game

I had that flashing and pressed the button for about 3 seconds, and it turned on saying i had a friend request maybe it's to tell that you've got a notification?

Got Sonic Racing 2 and it's really good, graphics are better on PS3 IMO, but for the Vita? It is FANTASTIC, highly recommend getting it.

Yeah Maverick Hunter X has good content, and I like to replay it over time on my brother's PSP.
then again X1 was easy to get into and beat and I've replay that as well a number of times lol.

If i had to pick one glaring flaw of the Vita its the unstable OS. Mine locks up anywhere from once a day to every other day. Rarely on games though, mostly on apps and im a heavy app user. I used to be scared everytime it happens but now i just hold down the power button till it restarts and move on. Hopefully Sony will make it more stable in an update.

(Bluetooth, outputs to anything with a normal stereo jack and works with 2 input devices (eg phone or computer and the vita). Plug in headphones or those small mini speakers*.

Also has a mic and is quite useful with big devices in public transport as well.

Total cost is about £50. Probably less in US. That Jabra Street 2 is pretty useful too. - Surprisingly good range too.

There are already quite a bit of those games out or already coming that are definitely moe/otaku material. Case in point: Ciel no Surge and Let's Try Bass Fishing (come on, those character designs), with others like the Senran Kagura game, Monster Monpiece and Demon Gaze, they're all pretty much full of fanservice.

It's better these games than no games, but sometimes I wonder if an over abundance of those type of titles can ruin the platform's name.

I agree that it's better we keep getting new games, the problem is these will probably never be localized so at best they'll just help grow the fanbase in Japan. We've been getting some pretty wild localization done so I still have hope we'll get some of those really... fanservicey games here.

Vice City Stories without the PSP like color correction filter active takes a new life on PS Vita's screen and you just got yourself the best PSOne machine ever too.

Same here with both my BT headset and my BT speakers. Sometime it's worse than others, but there's always at least a small delay.

I just want to say that Persona 4 Golden is the reason to own a Vita. In the past month, it has won me over as the best game on the system, the best game this year, and one of my top ten all time. I didnt expect that to happen when I bought it a month ago but Im so glad it did.

I beat it last night and now Im filled with the greatest happiness from beating it but the worst sadness because its over.

I have so many psp games and psone games from when I had a psp that I don't remember all I have. I know I have Final Fantasy 7, Grandia and the first Disgae game

Seems like a Vita problem to me, if they can't keep up with modern Bluetooth used in other similar devices like an iPad, netbook, kindle, etc.

There is a very slight delay with the iPad, of course. However, it's not a detriment to watching films on the thing with audio passed to a Bluetooth speaker. Video actions still sync up with their audio.

On the Vita, there is a hugely noticeable delay. Perhaps it's even more obvious because of the interactive element of games, but there is absolutely more audio delay over Bluetooth via the Vita than via the iPad. Vita video is not synced up with the audio.

I was hoping someone would point to a future firmware update to address this. Vita has the hardware, I'm guessing its just their software. For now I guess I'll go wired if I want an external speaker hooked up.
