Use your ears as well as your eyes. You can hear the clinking of the bottle as you get closer.

ahhhh thanks.. never thought about listening.. will try with some earphones tonight.

ohh top of page.. buy ehhhh ehhh wait I have something... ehh ehhh buy . .. just a minute guys.. buy (come on Hanmik) buy Playstation Plus.. that´s all I can recommend..

fair warning this is from kotaku
but there is a rumor kotaku is reporting supposedly from game lab (who are sometimes right) that monster hunter 4 is coming to the vita

take this with a huge ass mound of salt lol.

Would be nice for Vita sales in japan I guess, but that doesn't do anything for me at all. Not unless they find a way to make them fun for once.

I'm ready!

There would be zero advantages for Capcom to do this. I call BS.

if it doesn't take much effort to port it, then the big advantage would be having another install base to sell it to. The MH fans have shown willingness to buy the platform to play MH on before, there are a good number of crazy ass MH fans that would likely buy a 3ds and vita to play the game on both of them lol

not to mention MH found it's success on the sony psp and it's quite possible that a number of the MH fans are also sony fans and will just wait for it to come to the sony handheld.

If it is true when/how would they announce that?

I would imagine they will announce it when they are ready to announce it. knowing the way capcom works if true they will likely let MH4 come out for the 3ds and then a few months later announce monster hunter super 4 for the vita lol as I find a simultaneous release rather iffy

While it would be nice for Vita sales in Japan, personally I'm way more excited about the "MH clones" Soul Sacrifice, GEB2 and PSO2 for my monster hunting fix.

The more support the better, I guess. So hopefully it's true!

Hi guys

Absolutely loving little kings story on the vita and as i really let the psp bypass me i was wondering if there is anything similar on the psp thats available on the store (UK) or basically a really good rpg thats similar to the snes zelda.

Im open to other ideas of course but as there are soo many ive no idea what i should go for.

Alundra fits that description perfectly, although it's a PSOne game. But being 2D it held up really well.

Get PSX classic Alundra. Like right now. We have a lets play thread for it this month too!

Looks great on the Vita BTW.

I've only played it on PC and I don't know if its on PSN, but the Ys PSP games should be good for you. The difficulty is pretty high, but its like a fast paced Zelda type game (in terms of perspective and battle).

I should get around to playing alundra again, but at no point did I ever feel like I was playing a zelda game when I tried it the first time.

on a different note the MH4 vita rumor thread is amusing, and turning out exactly like I expected which is why i posted the rumor in here instead of making a thread lol. I wonder how long it will last before it gets closed.

edit: apparently that long.
edit 2: man Aeana is everywhere... she is awesome lol

True, although I think DOA5+ does look more demanding than PSABR though.
Oh well still impressed and shits.
DOA5 looks impressive as a total package, as it's more than the sum of its (uneven) parts. Character models are a dream, but even on the consoles, you have some seriously bad PS2-level texture detail and tons of missing effects that even DOA3 had (reflections on shiny surfaces and water, environmental details like snow deformation, etc.)

PASBR has much more going on at once, so DOA5 not reaching 60fps would just connote pure incompetence.

MH4 at Vita's native res + online play right out of the box would be heaven. Not going to happen though. This is Capcom we're talking about. If we do get a Vita version of MH4, it's going to be 3DS res and with no online.

SCEA, and SCEE confirmed they're bringing Soul Sacrifice abroad. Sony published games rarely take longer than a few months to be released internationally. The only cases where their games take ages are from Level-5, and that's because Level-5 sucks, and likes to do additional work on their games for the western release. Soul Sacrifice isn't made by Level-5, and as a March release in Japan I'd say it's safe to say it'll be 2013 in the west.

Sir, take a flying leap.

I'm just trying to redeem my Vita PSABR from my PS3 disc (not working at the moment, which I guess is down to the PSN maintenance). It says that the game is only available to download once from the store - I assume that doesn't mean I have to leave it on my Vita or lose it completely? It'll still be in my download list?

I think it means it can only be added to one account's download list; once you've redeemed it it's tied to that account and another account wouldn't be able to access the PS3 copy's 'disc benefits'.

So yeah, should stay in your downloads list. Mine has.

Yeah ive heard a lot about the Ys games. I will look into that.

It should appear in your download list as well as say "purchased" when browsing the vita channel

I never felt YS 7 was hard. There are times where you need to learn the boss animations, but really your dash/roll solves all these problems. It's better to try to go for less hits/damage than to get greedy.

Another thing that helps is if your main character (one your controlling) is getting hit and you know it's going to hit multiple times, switch to another character. The AI controlled characters don't take damage.

FYI

No there isn't and no they wouldn't.

Anyway, I hope it isn't true since Monster Hunter is boring and PSO is teh bettah.

If I buy a foreign vita can I choose which region psn store it is tied to? Is there any problem connecting to the NA store from overseas? I have a USA billing address.

while I agree with you, there definitely are MH fans that do this. They made a special edition MH PSP in Japan specifically for those people.

I can't stand MH personally. The pacing is way too slow for my liking.

Glad you can´t use your foot to kick my ass.. ;o)

Just asking because I HATE it when I´m only missing one freaking bottle in a level, and have used multiple hours searching for that bottle.. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Pro tip: In the options menu, turn the BGM all the way down and crank the SFX all the way up; it'll be a lot easier to hear the distinctive clinking sound of the Clue Bottles.
