Damn, I want my Rayman Legends and Dragon's Crown now.![]()
I think Namco will use Toukiden as sort of a test to gauge the interest in God Eater 2 localization.
I preordered Stealth Inc, Ibb and Obb, Cloudberry Kingdom, and Duck Tales Remastered. I am a platformer FIEND. I wish they were all on Vita, though. I would MUCH rather play all of them there. I'm hoping, at least, that Cloudberry Kingdom will end up being cross-buy so I'll still be able to play on Vita when that version comes out.
I want to take advantage of the pre-order incentives on the SEN webstore, but I got rid of my PS3 and don't know if Ibb & Obb is supposed to be cross-buy and is also coming out on Vita on August 6th. I mean, I heard it was, but the store doesn't say so, pre-ordering can't be done in Vita's store and neither the dev or @Playstation will comment back to Q's.
Come monday night, I'll have to just go with Stealth Bastard while it's $7.99, and forego the whopping $3 bonus for pre-ordering both games... hey, $3 is $3, though.
?Wrong company.
?
Aren't both games being developed/published by Namco Bandai?
Ah, i see. I got me confused for a second thereToukiden is tecmo-koei
You'll get Stealth Bastard and you'll like it!
Almost top of the page:
Grab StealthbastardInc on Tuesday/Wednesday
In an SS sequel, the removal or heavy nerfing of golems is mandatory. So OP.
It'd also be nice if holy/chaos weren't so black and white (ahem), it sucks wanting to go a holy route and being useless power-wise. I'd prefer it if it were more for aesthetics, or perhaps making it the divider between what type of spells you get to use (such as Holy's being a bit more support-oriented, but but ultimately user-chosen and not strictly /weaker/. Picture a Holy guy attacking with plant and blood spells, a Chaos guy attacking with swords and boulders)
Thats what I did until recently. Had 8gb from launch. Sucks but not the end of the world. 32gb feels nice but wish I could have gotten even bigger card honestly.
Second half looking good for me on the Vita.
Dragon's Crown
FFX
Rayman Legends
Plus keeping my eye out for stuff like Muramasa or Disgaea 3 since I didn't really want to pay full price for either of those.
I have no idea about the release schedule of indy games so there could be even more to be excited about.
Stupid escort merchant quest in Growlanser. It's too easy to fail that mission, unlike the ones in the beginning of the game. Had to try it 5 times and with the really long intro dialogue too. ugh
All I pre-ordered was Stealth Inc. since none of the other were vita games or cross-buy.
Random question out of curiosity:
Does anyone know how much does the 4GB Vita cards (largest one possible iirc) cost for publishers? I want to get an idea of the difference in cost between putting out a PS3 game and a Vita game.

Damnit why does SH:BOM have such bad load times... Has anyone tried MP yet with it? Id love to give it a go with some gaffers who picked it up off the sale recently - psn - wutdaheckman
wait... Cloudberry is not crossbuy? FFS i jumped on both cloudberry and stealth inc thinking they both where... uugghh
We’re discussing the possibility of cross-buy with Ubisoft and Sony right now, but haven’t gotten far enough to give a definitive answer. The issue we’re running into right now is that the game isn’t complete on the Vita yet, so there seems to be some sort of difficulty with that. Once we get everything figured out and have an official stance though we’ll be sure to make an announcement! Sorry I couldn’t be much help.
This is a pretty important topic to us so we’re trying to get it worked out as quickly as possible!
Where did you get the december release from? I thought it's 2013 and no specific month.GE2 hasn't been announced for the west yet, Toukiden is december though
oops was supposed to be an edit

Oh yeah SS sequel needs armor skills, better crafting, combos and something to do outside of combat.
Have you patched it? The loading of a dungeon is still long but if you die it doesn't load anymore.Damnit why does SH:BOM have such bad load times... Has anyone tried MP yet with it? Id love to give it a go with some gaffers who picked it up off the sale recently - psn - wutdaheckman
Thanks, can't remember them announcing this on their twitter or somewhere else.TK's website

http://gematsu.com/2013/05/tecmo-ko...se?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=facebookToukiden (PSV / Q4 2013) Toukiden takes Tecmo Koeis expertise in historically themed games to an expansive fantasy world influenced by historical and traditional Japanese elements. Developed by the same studio that created the famed Dynasty Warriors series, this all-new franchise casts players in the role of a demon-fighting Slayer. Starting from the Utakata Village headquarters where they will accept quests, players will venture out to battle monstrous and deadly Oni (demons) before they destroy all of humanity.
Thanks...I may start with hard then. I guess theres always new game + if I wan to bump up the difficulty...right?
Alright, I finally got home a few hours ago and I've had time to sit down for a bit, so I can type up what the new arrangement for the monthly thread's Game of the Month is gonna be. Good ol' fashioned voting!
From today until the 30th, anyone interested in voting for next month's Game of the Month must PM me with their top 5 choices, in order of preference. If you don't provide an order, I'll assume that the order you list them in is the preference. Each game gets points in order of preference, from 5 to 1, and the game with the most points is the winner. Once a game has been chosen, I'll randomly ask someone who voted for the game as #1 to provide a short write-up for it like the one in this and the previous threads.
Criteria for voting:
Note - If you vote for a game that's already been selected as GotM, I'll disregard it's placement and scroll everything else up by one. For reference, the following games have already been selected:
- Games voted for must have been released at any time prior to the month the thread is for, including previous months.
- Only games released up to July 30th, the last PSN update day in July, will count for this round of voting.
- Retail, Digital only and PlayStation Mobile games are all valid.

CHOOSE WISELY.
Anyone else think Sony should increase the range of brightness on Vita? For some reason the difference between the low setting and high setting isn't that drastic to me. If I'm playing in bed, sometimes the low setting is a little bit too bright still.
Same here. I always keep a bit close to low and there isn't much of a difference between the highest and the lowest. I doubt if anyone keeps it at the highest or close to it.Anyone else think Sony should increase the range of brightness on Vita? Right, but not december.
Might be due to the huge indie push and getting the AAA of indie gaming like Hotline Miami, Spelunky, Lone Survivor to come to VITA. These games, even if they are multiplatform release, usually sell quite well and even outsell the PS3 version like it happened with Guacamelee and Retro City Rampage. Is it just me, or has there been a lot of vita related threads lately?
Is the system gaining in awareness or just a GAF-fluke?

For RCRHave you got links to Guacamelee and RCR sales for both machines? That's pretty interesting to see.
