Does Sony even want people using the vita store or what

They don't want people using anything. How do I even find DLC on the SEN webstore? There's no DLC tab on games like there is on the PS3 store.

My pre-order for Stealth Inc authorized, and I saw I had 1.82 in my wallet from whatever I bought last week. Wanted to put Guac & Stealth DLC in a cart (6.98... $5 mandatory add only brought it up to $6.82 ffs) and only add $5.16 upon transaction, but couldn't find the stuff on the store. Just had to add $10. Tired of this no Vita cart crap.

The same way you find DLC on the PS3 store. You look for the game, and all the additional content is shown on the game's page.

So, I have the cartridge version of Persona 4. Can I sell the cartridge and pick up the digital version and resume the game as normal?

When you DL & install digital games it just asks to overwrite the existing bubble. Vice versa, too, if you put a cart back in. I've done it a few times with Little Big Planet Vita.

Ah, they have it there now. I swear it wasn't earlier. Store must not have fully updated yet. Even the Guacamelee devs were waiting on DLC to go live in their area, so they could give out codes, when I'd already DL'd mine a couple hours earlier.

how's Total Recoil? hmm just saw it for 2.49 lol

man Critter Crunch, Everyday Shooter, Calling All Cars are 0.99 each
(if only they were on the Vita too :/)

Dammit, can't decide between Innocent Sin or P4 Golden. I already beat P4 on ps2, not sure if I can put down another 60. Yet having it on the go does seem real tempting.

Innocent Sin's gameplay is pretty bad (infuriatingly long encounters and an incredibly high encounter rate do not a fun game make) in comparison to later entries in overarching SMT series, and hard to recommend to anyone who doesn't have an affinity for the older Persona games.

Go watch an LP covering the first dungeon or so before pulling the trigger to see if it's something you think you can deal with.

If you've never played IS, go for it.

It's a good Persona game. My personal favorite after P3

It's a port from a mobile game....

Although to be fair, this seems surprisingly high-quality.

While true, many PSM games are tuned for use with the Vita, some not so much. This wad previously a touch only game on mobile. So I want to find out how much SE cared to make it play, and look on the Vita.

How well do the PSP Ys games play? Worth the $15?

(Steam has Oath and Chronicles discounted to about $5 each. Been waiting for a sale on PSN for about a year now, hasn't happened yet.)

7 and Felghana are wonderful. The port Konami did of 6 on PSP is bad (I don't think that one is even on PSN in NA, though). Chronicles is a good collection of the first two games, but they are classics that, while they hold up well, are dated.

Stealth inc is a fun game. Some of the times on the leaderboards for the 1st section are blowing my mind.

fuuuuuu, off by .08 sec of 1st place on the board for 1-8 =(

I never get first.

Impressed by SCE's support of Soul Sacrifice, I'm sure some of the textures look sharper post patch and new missions are always welcome.

Ok, my impressions on Chaos Rings so far are quite mixed.

Graphics-wise, the game is definitely below most native Vita games. There is noticeable pixelation, textures are crude and even backgrounds are not as detailed. Character models are a bit better, especially during battles, but that's about it.

I am not someone who cares deeply for frame rate issues (and I honestly don't have a good eye for it), but even I can tell that CR runs badly, in some cases way below 20 fps. There is also a constant input lag.

I played CR about a year ago on my iPhone for a few hours and I enjoyed it quite a lot, and it definitely plays and looks better there. I don't understand why they didn't use some of the higher-quality assets from mobile phones for the Vita version, it would have looked much better that way I suppose.

Overall, I am very disappointed with my purchase. I think I read somewhere on this thread that CR would be too much to run smoothly on the Vita if ported via PSM. I can see why now. SE seems to have crossed the line of what the PSM specifications allow something to run smoothly on Vita. The worst thing is that this is quite a nice game with a very interesting story, but in this case its execution is just a quick money grab on SE's part for me.

I strongly suggest no one buys this, its an awful port. I shake in fear of how other nice SE games might run on Vita (FFT for example) if they see this one sell decently and decide to take the cheap way when porting (PSM) instead of doing their games justice.

If you have any questions, let me know. I'll be glad to answer.

Btw. Is there a way to get refunds from PSN/PSM? lol

I haven't really played Soul Sacrifice in a while. This new Fellow Sorcerer patch should be interesting.

I need to play the most DLC soon -- agent had been busy though and I haven't seen any invites from others or anything. :P

Ok, people.
I bought P4G.
Y'all better be right or I'm going to want my $20 back.

I seriously cannot believe the "Preparng to Download" glitch is still going on in the store. How many months has it been now? Does Sony even want people using the vita store or what

I know...it really sucks. I got hit hard by it today:

Played 2 hours of P4G on my commute this morning, left it on standby while I was at work so I could pick up where I left off in the dungeon for the commute home. Decided to download the Guacamelee DLC before going home only to be met with with "preparing to download"...had to reboot and lose my P4G progress.

Yeah, I should have just waited but I couldn't help it. It is fun IMO, but its just depressing how shoddy of a port this is. Would've been great as a budget PSN release.

Exactly.

Don't worry. Even after you are done with the game you'll keep throwing money at your screen for more of it.
