might have been safer to archive on youtube and not monetize that way they might just take over the video rights claim but not ask for a takedown
but a website yeah not sure how long that can last

2 - 5 years is what I would expect for a vtuber career run to be honest. Too many reasons to retire. If a girl wants to move on and have a family of her own it would not be easy to do both.

It would have been a better stream if she played at a lower difficulty or used the DLC stuff to unlock spoiler characters no way she'll be able to unlock them with her skill level. She would have had more fun. Just like as soon as she changed to English voices she had more reason to laugh.

but her channel has been stuck on 2.96 Million for many months now. Gawr Gura is just days away from passing her and they post this video lol.
I was thinking they tried to pay for fake subs and got their numbers stuck because of deletes. It is a real thing you can buy and I feel the company who runs her channel has done some suspect shit.

I've seen youtube freeze channels at a certain number before most often is because they purchased subs. The funny thing about that is that any hater with money to burn could buy subs for any channel. Just buy enough subs to trigger a freeze. It could happen to Gura.

I mean why would you even make a video about that topic? SUS and seriously Guilty, unless they are trying to say anyone who passes them had to purchase subs lol.

Corporate vtubers are not really the same as Idol Company vtubers. I was thinking maybe Sonic would get a pass but nah not feeling it.

You will notice two big losses.
The first is when Choco lost all her views, which was when youtube decided that ASMR is against the rules and removed all ASMR videos.
The second loss affected everyone where Hololive lost like 70% of their views that was when youtube decided that it's only allowed to stream videos of games if you have the consent of the developer.

It's interesting to see the differences between views and subscribers.

by the way Kiara spent sometime in the hospital for some test about her neck pain. It will take weeks for her neck to heal so she is streaming in pain but does not plan to cancel her streams.

She is doing a good job with Coco

edit; this stream is cursed, when it is over I doubt the VOD will stay up without being deleted. They have crossed so many yabe lines

edit: Oh okay context can be found in memes before that. fans sent her edibel spiders and Kiara was pushing her to eat them before she leaves Hololive. She says she is an idol and will not eat spiders. She skipped that so Kiara won't start to bug her about spiders again.

Very interesting to see Calli has more views than Gura. Gura deletes a lot of singing streams with many people watching, she will never stay top 10 in views, she would need many original songs on the channel hitting 5 million.

Only Kiara would think something like "those were pity subs" remember she hit this at the start of her marathon stream. I hope she would just take this numbers thing in stride because all of EN works really hard and she has the most event streams. Saying something like is will impact Gura just as much as Ina. Gura avoids talking about or celebrating her numbers. Ina mostly quietly goes with the flow. Who would not sub for HoloTalk? Kiara chill!

I know this is how she feels but think about all the JP Holomems she passed like Aki. EN Gen 2 must be a nightmare for her, one of them might eat up a million subs in a week.

Don't show her view counts.

Ame singing streams always show how weak she is at this, and her lack of Japanese does not stop her from collabs. If she allowed those things to get into her head like Kiara she would be gone. It is all about attitude.

I am kinda bummed out that Korone skipped UsaKen to play Sonic. Meh.
I get it she is a loner and does not really play Minecraft. And at least she has her own diehards that would not leave her stream to follow that.

I could tell how lost Gura felt during her stream and too shy to ask for a bow when it was time for the games. I did not follow Ame much but she seems to stay on the sidelines and her stream had her with a camera prop like she wanted to play cameraman instead of taking part. I can understand that they both don't speak Japanese and they were lost most of the time. The thing is they tried to be there lack of sleep and all. With Coco leaving Hololive needs this kind of unity. 29 showed up.

Calli and Kiara are getting very little sleep because they have a Shadowverse tourney.

I for my part am glad that not all Vtubers do the same stuff.

Most play the same games I've 0 interest in all the time. Like Apex and Minecraft.

Korone is one of the few that play games I actually have interest in watching. Though that Sonic Anniversary game is dumb. I could code a better game than that.

Dude you know my post was not about which games you like. We already agreed that there is a vtuber for everyone.

I don't care if Korone plays my favorite games, if I think she is an asshole I won't watch her play them.

She was wrong, she is not the only one with anxiety issues. She is not the only one who does not play Minecraft. My point is the ones with those issues still showed up and faced their anxiety. Bitch stayed lame.

Not defending Korone for that shit, when Ame and Gura can't even speak Japanese and showed up. When Sora and AZKi can't even carry a stream pass 1,000 viewers at a time and still showed up.

It's a team thing man, those are your friends and you played a shitty Sonic game instead. this type of shit can only help Korone grow but she did not even try. Pekora was just like her yet she has been growing stronger and became a leader these girls respect.

I've searched can't find anything on youtbe or reddit but I can't speak Japanese it might be out there.

I'm sure there will be a clip of her saying why she did not attend, she might have said something before
like most Holomem she speaks to her chat, if they ask we will know.

I really like Korone, the anxiety thing is more of an excuse I am giving for her. I really do think gura and ame both have this issue even if they play games with others. They tend to fall back on sticking together anyway.

USAKEN was Months in the making everyone gave their reasons weeks before.


Flare told Pekora here. But Korone rarely shows up in Minecraft most of her builds were created for her.
Even if Flare lied about her reason it was a big reason for missing it.

Really one hour, show up stand around watch the events, to me it is a team building thing.
My thing is if she did not want to go at least stream a few hours away from the event to give your fans a choice to support it.

I feel Korone is big enough in Hololive to show some support back to the company and the people she works with.
She is not the only one that failed to attend but she was streaming at the time. When clippers are sharing every POV

The issue about Hololive playing the same 2 games, is an issue that will stay alive for years to come.
Minecraft won't die off and with new members they have been watching these vtubers and they know if they want to collab with Senpais they have to pick between Minecraft and Apex right now. Mario Kart or Splatton can play a role in the future but you can't collab if you don't at least enter a Minecraft server.

When Ame and Gura first visited the Minecraft server they both wanted to go to Korone's house. When you are that big the new people look up to you. This is why I don't like her not showing up. She can play Sonic anytime but these events takes months of planning at least show up.

Actually having a Sponsored stream is a good reason not to be with everyone else. You can still move that a couple hours later or earlier if you really wanted to attend but it is still a good reason to miss an event.

I'll go with what Rya is saying she did not want to attend.

On the other hand there were dozens of girls streaming Minecraft, and Korone's stream was like an alternative offering a different game and stream. Korone does plenty of other collabs, right? I'm pretty sure I've seen her do Among Us with huge groups, so it's not like she's totally isolating herself.

I don't think it's really worth worrying too much about.

I was shocked by how hard Rushia worked on it. She was sleeping on stream because she had to finish her section.

It was also a nice goodbye to Coco.

I think they could have avoided the issue by making USAKEN Summer Festival a 3-5 day event that way different groups can attend on different days and they would have avoided the server lag from 29 girls at once.

Still more fun to watch all of them together.

You never complained about her not telling her fans, you said you think it's wrong of her not to join the event.

This is something that just really bothers me personally, because I was always the type that wanted to be left alone and people from school constantly nagging me to join them on some party or something was super annoying.

Everybody should just do what he/she enjoy and not give in due to social pressure.


And if you're honestly curious, Korone is the type that just likes to have a small circle of friends and just do stuff with them. She feels rather uncomfortable around people she usually doesn't hang out with. The only reason she even joined Hololive was because Okayu convinced her and got Yagoo to ask her to join.

Korone just isn't the type to attend large meetings like the summer festival. It wouldn't fit her at all.

Korone actually had a call stream just a while ago and Marine actually forced her out of her comfort zone by calling other Hololive members. The clips of that will make you understand how Korone is like a bit better:

Hololive EN rarely plays interesting games to watch TBH. No Undertale, no Deltarune, only one time Everhood (and not even finished by Calli), only one Henry Stickmin LP, no Plug&Play / KIDS except for Kiara now and only one There's No Game LP.

Also not really a game that's popular streaming but since I'm a big fan: Also no SaGa Frontier Remastered LP. (Kiara is a JRPG fan but only picks JRPGs that are boring to watch like Atelier.)

So I'm happy about every time they actually do something I'd like to watch, especially if it's Kiara or Gura.
