I don't suppose there is a way to partition the HD and use the Mem Stick to tell the bios which mode to boot up into?

For instance, without the Stick boot into the Evo-X partition, and with the Stick boot into the 'classic' 8 gig Live friendly partition.

Does this method just overwrite the BIOS on the MOBO?

When you apply for your PIN your company name isn't required so I left it blank. When I filled out the form for the address to send the memory stick to I just put a space in the company field and it accepted it

Speaking of storage, can I use an iPod as a glorified memory stick? I'm buying one this week. Just wondering how it all works on PC. When I plug the iPod in, will Windows show it as a removeable drive that I can copy files to and from?

Mine worked fine. For registration I put in no company name. I put in a company name on the ending screen. It accepted it.

Yes, though first you will need to set the iPod to disk mode in the iTunes options. After that it will behave has a music player and file storage device.
