I saw this thread bumped so I just thought I would say it's taking fucking forever to get my Ipod. It's been in "sent to vendor, waiting for product" status for almost a month now.

Probably because the company is waiting for more referrals to sign up so they can buy...I mean ship your iPod.

As far as I know, the only difference is the HP name on it. I think I will wait until the end of this coming week and if the status hasn't changed, I'll change to the HP model.

Just in case anyone is still doing offers, a bit of advice is to NOT do the VideoProfessor offer. You don't find out until you get it, but they'll actually send you 3 CDs, one of which you must send back, otherwise they charge you $69.95. You also have to pay the return shipping as well, and call them to get an RMA. I'll admit that at least the last part was easier than getting out of an AOL free trial though.

you have to know they look for reasons to not hand these things out. hot-deals.org had a piece up about them making almost 2x the cost of each item they give out for free...and then they screw every person they can so they don't give anything away. I was told two of my referrals were not unique even though I know they (all 20 of them) all were.

I FINALLY received my ipod today. Only took about 7 weeks.

I turned it on to find out it was in Chinese. I thought I got some funky Chinese model, but then I read the instruction manual and was able to switch it to English. Can't wait to get some songs on there and go to the gym.

But not now. I have another interview to go to.
