On Friday I will "donate" to get my flatscreen link up, so I'll post more as it progresses

The thing about the flatscreen donation offer is that you and 4 other people's link will be randomly rotated throughout 1 day whereas for the ipod donation, your link and only your link will be on the front page. It seems much less reliable especially considering that you need more referrals for the flatscreens than you need for the ipod. Anyone know how sucessful people have been with the flatscreen donations? I really want a dual monitor setup.

Yeah, I got an email saying which day was going to have my link up there. I think I only got it because he booked two people on the same day though, so you might not get an email. For example, I just donated another $10 to add my wife's link and I've yet to get an email telling me what day to expect the flood of referrals.

no kidding. five links at $5 a day and the next available day is December. There are around 107 days left until the next available donation date which means he has about $535 right now,not counting the days previous. Nice little racket, but he says on his page that [everyone who is on his page gets the five referrals.

get friends and family to do the same.... goto the referral page... once there go to the bottom of the page there is a link that you can send out to people , so when they click it and do the offer, u get credit for it.... put it in your signiture on other message boards and email it to friends you know that wouldnt mind filling out a free trial, and you will be set....

I'd do this if there are still good deals left to be done (kinda like how in the freevideogames.com stuff all the good deals eventually disappeared), and if there were still people here willing to cooperate in the whole referral thing.

Edit: Although I'm mainly interested in the flatscreen or Ipod, as I already have several PCs.

It may be a little tougher to find referrals, but if you have a few friends who would be interested, then it would be very easy.

I would say that you wouldn't find many referrals here since the list is so longer, but there may be another board that hasnt been tapped yet, that will allow you to get the referrals.

Unfortunately most boards either have already experienced this, or would probably scream bloody murder, accusing me of spam and fraud. Coupled with the inherently pyramidal, albeit not fraudulent nature of the actual deal, they'd probably be a bit reluctant.

nah, that site seems to be worthless for referrals now. Right now they are backordered to jan with paid donations and people now are only getting 1-2 signups and to top it off very few actually complete the offer.
