It was fun until I hit a wall from the insanely repetitive nature of it
Thats kinda what happened to me.

I was also very unimpressed by the graphics. Felt more like a remaster of the original than its own new game. I know 2 wasnt great but its did add some qol changes and a new enemy faction (the zombies) to help differentiate it.

It felt like we waited three-four yesrs after its announcement for a very mediocre sequel (especially when the destructable environments didnt pan out for the final version)

Creckhead 1 and 2 have been free to claim since pretty much the beginning of the backwards compatibility program.

Crackdown 1 is hands down an amazing game. I absolutely loved this game on 360 when it came out and remember it included the Halo 3 Beta.

The verticality and the jumping when you levelled up was so cool. The second wasn’t too bad either. Fond memories of the first, it was a lot of fun.

Crackdown 1 was so underappreciated in its time.

It's a shame they never gave that game the sequel it deserved.

One of the best open worlds ever as far as exploration goes.

Crackdown 1 was definitely one of those “you had to be there at the time” kinds of games. It was an absolute blast to play back when it came out and throughout most of the X360 years but it really hasn’t aged well.

I liked Too Human. I’m a sucker for Valhalla shit, even when used in this game. I honestly think the game was ahead of its time.

Very true. I tried replaying it a few years ago. The years have just past it by at this point. (You'd be better off playing Crackdown 3.)

I believe it. And Crackdown 2 was a bad rehash.

Crackdown 3 was brainless fun for a few hours but a major step back from the design of CD1.

Yeah. Something happened to Too Human where it became legal again.

It was originally banned from stores.

This.
I remember entire evenings playing the first episode online with friends and having fun like few other games
it's a shame that the franchise is now dead

In to say that Crackdown 3 was a lot of fun.

Crackdown 1 was fun, but when I replayed it a couple years ago I realized how bare bones it is.

Didn't play Crackdown 2 as people bitched the map was the same and different dev or something.

Crackdown 3, well sounded like everybody hated it.

If the latter two are anything like the first one, probably good mindless fun.

May need to check both out.

Loved Crackdown 1 back in the day. Crackdown 2 not so much. Crackdown 3 was good fun too, but the much hyped MP was absolute garbage of the highest order.
