From PWInsider.com
Ken Kennedy vs. Hardcore Holly.

As Kennedy came out, they reviewed how Kennedy cost Holly a match with Sylvan on Smackdown this weekend. Kennedy did his own ring introduction for his PPV debut, using the "old school" microphone that was lowered from the ceiling. Holly slingshotted Kennedy into the ring to start the match, then stomped him down in a corner. Holly hit a vertical suplex for a two count, then worked him over in a corner, choking him with his boot. Kennedy hit a knee to the gut, then punched him in the head. Holly reversed a whip and hit a dropkick. Holly chopped Kennedy hard in a corner, then delivered two more hard chops. Kennedy hit a headbutt to the midsection of Holly and pulled him to the floor by his trunks.

On the outside, Kennedy yanked Holly into the ringpost, shoulder first. Kennedy rolled Holly into the ring for a two count, then hit some short-arm shoulder blocks on the damaged shoulder. Kennedy hit a back suplex for a two count. Kennedy applied an armbar, and Holly armdragged out of it, but Kennedy came right back with a clothesline for a two count. Holly fired off two chops, but Kennedy grabbed him in a cross armbreaker for a two count. Kennedy applied a keylock, then hit another short-arm shoulderblock, but Holly responded with punches. Holly backdropped Kennedy, then hit two back elbows. Kennedy reversed a whip, but missed a clothesline and Holly hit a full-nelson slam for a two count.

Holly hit a clothesline in the corner, then a second. Holly tried to lift Kennedy by the legs, but dropped him. Holly stretched Kennedy across the ropes and kicked him in the "lower abdomen", then rolled him up for a two count. Kennedy went for a spin kick, but Holly blocked it and hit a boot to the face for a two count. Holly went to the top rope, but Kennedy stopped him with some punches. Kennedy got on the second rope, grabbed Holly in a fireman's carry, and hit his second rope forward roll into a Samoan Drop for the pin at the ten minute mark.

Winner: Ken Kennedy.

Kennedy did his own victory announcement before leaving.
:lol :lol :lol

Ken Kennedy is the man.

What a successful PPV.

I thought the main event was awesome. Eddie Guerrero carried it, but Batista played his part as the meathead. Everything else sucked though. PEACE.

I dont know why but I enjoyed the PPV, maybe it was because my expectations were a low as expectations could possibly be..

Kennedy messing with Booker T back stage was fantastic, Juventud getting the Crusierweight title was great also....

....the Ortons setting the casket on fire with the "Undertaker in it" was beyond stupid though.

At SomethingAwful, a Raw thread usually gets 2000+ replies.

This PPV has gotten 30.

A more telling figure I can't present.

WWE: We had a PPV and no one came.

Well, it's their own fault. Fuck em, I'm not watching wrestling again until it appeals to me.

I miss when No Mercy was good, and Edge/Christian vs Hardy Boys ladder match made them all stars and made everyone buy the VHS when it came out.
I miss classic E&C. I miss The Brood too. I miss blood baths. I miss 5 second poses. I miss Owen Hart. ;_;

You know, for the past few days I can't get the main page, or the forum to load....gamespot doesn't load for me either. Is this happening to anyone else, or is my machine fucked?

This PPV had little build-up and I think people are also getting tired of seeing the same guys in the same matches over and over again. It's time for Batista (and Cena) to drop the title, we've had enough Orton/Undertaker casket matches to last a life time already, but the WWE is going to CONTINUE these feuds for another PPV? Ugh, enough already.

Something is wrong when the WWE's current focus is replacing Jim Ross with a commentator that looks better on camera than in improving the storylines and matches. :P

Surprisingly solid PPV considering the card, though I still don't care about the Smackdown brand. Casket match was a lot better than I would've hoped, four-way was good, main event was quite good. Give credit where credit is due. Oh wait, this is GAF.

Juventud can still go, though he should stay far away from the top turnbuckle these days. I'm glad he won the title, maybe they'll actually do something with it this time.

And im sure the PPV was solid-- there no way the fatal fourway could have gone bad, and Taker & Orton have great chemistry. On top of that you had the cruiserwieght title match and of course Eddie can carry anyone to a good match. But the problem is, for $35, a solid PPV is not acceptable. They should really offer these kinds of thrown together PPV's at a discount price.

What credit? Is this PPV good enough to buy on DVD? Is this PPV good enough to have even watched a first time?
