America isn't ready for another Obama. We had him for 8 years and then we elected the man who harassed him over his racial roots for half a decade. White people always strike back, it's how they roll. We need someone more moderate to put them at ease and keep them at home.

I'll be interested in seeing the DNC's postmortem of this election, and want to wait for that before i draw speculative conclusions on "what went wrong," but the numbers indicate that she has the support, just in the wrong geographic distribution.
I do think the next shot should be a southerner, but a progressive southerner who strives to drive minority turnout. Kaine himself could try.

What I don't understand is why leftist parties all over the western world have abandoned the working class (that has traditionally been the bread and butter of left side of political spectrum) in favour of minorities as their focus. I mean, minorities will vote for the left leaning side anyway but the blue collar will be the first to run away to populist option once you leave them up for grabs.

I'm pissed Tammy Duckworth was born in Thailand, because she'd be a perfect candidate 4 years from now. She's a progressive war veteran who was wounded in action(lost both of her legs). There was a real paranoia where all criticism of Hillary was somehow only a product of Trump supporters...therefore anyone criticizing her was a Trump supporter in sheep's clothing.
I felt like a lot of introspective dialogue was stifled by the witch hunt for secret or not so secret Trump supporters.
She is nonwhite woman with no name. She would get crushed. Trump would just need to run a racially charged campaign and the white turnout would be overwhelming like it was here. You guys don't get it, racism in American politics HELPS politicians among white people, not hurts. Romney's problem wasn't that he was boring, it was that he wasn't racist enough.
