WebM for NeoGAF (Chrome) 1.5

- Now works with posts added by D4Danger's Live Reload extension (version 2.1+ required, which he hasn't uploaded yet, so sit tight!)

Really? It should be in the lower right. Can you screenshot the options page?

Do you have click-to-play enabled? Hmm.

I've also noticed delayed loading on some videos now. Not sure if it's an issue with the extension or the webhosts. Looking into it.

Would it be possible to make the hover-to-play option act like click to play? Hover over a webm to play it then hover back over it to pause it? Or maybe hide the curse when it's hovering over a playing webm?

That looks just beautiful, where is it from by the way?

It is incredible how fast this is moving, but I still have some problems with the videos. Some of them seem to stop loading midway, although that may have to do with my connection.

It's an anime movie called "The Garden of Words".

Real talk, this trend is absolutely going to die once pomf.se get's their webhosting bill and add limitations on the service.

It's too good to last. We'll need to find another host for all these videos soon.

Imgur should consider some limited support for them, similar to gfycat. At least that way it's more likely some of these clips will be around in the future. Right now it reminds me of the time those HD video sites popped up and were exciting before disappearing.

David OReilly - The External World clip. 600KB. More in keeping with the gif replacement concept, and being 500px wide. I'm using a portable ffmpeg front-end called SmartFFMpeg. Forgot who asked about how to get the exact timestamp, but in PotPlayer I pressed 'g' to open the Jump To window where I copied the current timestamp (the d/f keys move one frame back/forward).

First try converting using ffmpeg

1 & 3 mb

Mind me asking what settings you used for the second clip, at 1.6MB it's crystal clear.
