Oh and that you think that the shockingly well written Senran Kagura is indicative anything shows how little you know about me. I've talked about my split feelings on SK and how I hate how such a well written story is buried under pandering bullshit.

we have really lazy & ridiculous outfit changes all over the place, while some remain unaffected
I understand why Nintendo has been censoring Fire Emblem (it's in a weird situation - becoming even more popular in Japan while also pandering to people looking for softcore porn & cute waifus, but also becoming popular in the West too, where mainstream games from Nintendo can't really afford to be sexually suggestive) but the way this game has been treated is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable, if only because the amount of censorship is extremely inconsistent.

PS. I too support this type of change. The otaku dollar doesn't hold weight in the West like it does in Japan and there's no reason or need to pander to people who want underage tits all over their games.

There's probably some law in some Western country somewhere that bans the showing of upper-arm skin and armpits. That's definitely it.

It's disappointing that the game is being torn to pieces because of all the controversial changes, but i'm sure the people who decide to give it a try will appreciate the effort Altus put into the game.

I mean, I think Occam's Razor here makes it pretty clear why the arm was covered. The style is a solid-white body dress. Probably thought it'd be weird to cover just her chest, so they turned it into a different style altogether. Seems they toned a lot of the color on the dress to match the white, looking between the two images. But that may just be youtube compression artefacting.

Meh, one image is blasted to hell by YouTube compression. At a glance, it honestly didn't look worse. But on much closer and prolonged study I can see the "wrinkles" so to speak.
