Couldn't you just manually play the game and put in the backup QB?

I never played with them, but sure enough after the 1st week in season 2 his name would be on the IR list with a Career Ending Injury. I think it was always a concussion. I swear it was 2002, maybe 2001 but that crap used to crack me up. It happened to all my friends' franchise modes too.

Wouldn't it be funny just to see your player lying on the ground, and then later during the game have Al Michaels tell you "Let's check in on the injury, It appears Drew Bleadsoe is dead"

nothing beats NFL 2k5's online player injuries. i wish i still had the pic saved but it was fucking classic. it would have the player name, the injury, and the amount of time out, and one time it said:

"Warren Sapp - Heart Attack - Day to Day"
