What albums do you consider "perfect"? This means that you enjoy listening to the whole album (without skipping tracks) every time you decide to listen to that album

Looks like this thread has fallen in the trap of many other similar threads.

People post a picture with no title or comment. Very useful.

Time Out - The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Selling England by the Pound - Genesis
Discovery - Daft Punk
Sea Change - Beck
Extraordinary Machine - Fiona Apple

Five of my all time favorites.

Op sets no precedent, and the concept of the thread is easy to understand. It's a favorites or list thread where people write their own but dont read others'. Fairly normal. Sometimes I post in them, sometimes I don't. In this case I did because Millenium is the greatest album of all time. =P

Prodigy Presents: The Dirt Chamber Sessions Vol 1. Truly, the perfect album.

I think it's the density of samples, the choice of tracks and the way everything just flows with clinical precision. I could listen to it every day for the rest of my life, happily.

Strange way of defining a 'perfect' album but anyhow by the top of my head:

Kind of Blue, Bitches Brew, Ascenseur and a lot more by Miles Davis

Mingus Ah Um and a lot more by Charles Mingus

Jazz Impressions of Japan, Take Five and a lot more by Dave Brubeck

Portrait of Jazz and a lot more by Bill Evans

Undercurrent
by Bill Evans/Jim Hall

Crescent, A Love Supreme by John Coltrane

Kid A by Radiohead

Daydream Nation, EVOL, Sister by Sonic Youth

Swordfishtrombones, Rain Dogs, Bone Machine by Tom Waits

Ege Bamyasi, Tago Mago by Can

Entroducing by DJ Shadow

Horses by Patti Smith

Songs of Praise by African Head Charge

Untrue by Burial

Richard D. James Album by Aphex Twin

Axis Bold as Love by Jimi Hendrix

Loveless by My Bloody Valentine

London Calling by The Clash

Sgt. Peppers, Revolver by The Beatles

There's a lot more but I'll leave it at that.

Marshall Mathers LP if you cut out real slim shady. Not even a big fan of his but that album is bananas.

Biggie Ready to die obviously

Illmatic

Enter the Wu-Tang Clan

Criminal minded by the boggie down productions

Straight out of compton. Shocked this still holds up 100% today

Weird thing is some of my favorite albums aren't in this list because they either have some awful radio style songs or some shitty skits that were always bad.

The ones I can think of right now

Just something off the top of my head, probably my favorite live album (shockingly maybe surpassing The Who's Live At The Isle Of Wight)

Daft Punk - Alive 2007

There is no weak track here. All standouts.
