I know what you're talking about (like the green one Jay-Z had on in that video, right?)

I don't know what they're called, but they sell them at most corner stores where I live (I have a solid white and solid grey one).

I have a grey one and a black one. Don't exactly know what they're called but they're really nice. And how do you all not know what a skully is?

IMO, a beanie is a little hat with a propeller on top. Those are toques. :)

Seriously, I've always called them toques. It wasn't until recently that I realized it was a Canadian thing.

It's not coke and soda. A tobogan is a sled for multiple people. It's not even in the ballpark it's not even the same fucking sport.

Welcom to GAF you may create the thread but it grows and goes wherever it wants. After all the name of the forum is Off-Topic.

Beanie in Australia. This is the first time i've ever heard the terms skully or toque. Oh you fruity Canadians, and your made up words. :lol

EAT MERDE

A lidded beanie? Don't know what else to call it really -- there are a bunch of guys who wear it down here, but it really doesn't look all that hot :)

I've always called them sockhats or medic caps. Because medics wore them in the Genesis video game General Chaos.

Point taken......but a toque? It sounds like something you'd do with a spliff.

We need middle ground here people.
Yeah, but we've been calling them toque's far longer than you've been calling them beanies. Canadians have been wearing them forever due to the weather... you Californians only just started wearing them to look cool :)
