Bought a Pro and have a backlog that I'll never finish. Trying to reign in my spending in 2025 and get through a lot of games I have purchased or got with PS+

I may try and do a "no new games in 2025" to give myself the ability to buy games even cheaper.

I still haven't finished Rebirth, Alan Wake 2, Dead Space, Shadow of the Erdtree, those are just some big games I have just not had time to play or was waiting for Pro patches.

Finally ordered a (Meta Quest) 3S for me from euro Amazon for the normal 330 eur price since they sell it for 388 here (as current offer at that, otherwise way more expensive). Can't wait!​

Also ordered an 11" tablet for my mum (some modest 2023 model with a G99 soc, it's better than my phone's G88 lol) cos my niece cracked her screen and it has trouble charging, guess it sorta counts though it's not likely to see much gaming. No other gifts I bought are even tangentially related.​

Wife got angry with kids so threw an iPad Pro on the ground. Screen and bezels are smashed. It was the 2017 model so I guess we got our money out of it (also Apple refused to repair it because buy new shit you fucking peasants). I bought Astrobot and Final Fantasy Rebirth as gifts for myself but won't start those until the day after Christmas. Also getting the Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver Remaster.


I also bought a new Samsung Galaxy phone but I don't use it for gaming...although I do use it for gaming related stuff like IGN Playlist app, Xbox, Steam, Playstation apps, the note app for organizing upcoming releases, YouTube, downloading/viewing and organizing in game screenshots and gameplay clips, Gify to make gameplay gifs, etc...

No sign of MP4 or the Switch 2 so nothing, I still need to get a new PC which would increase gaming options but I know that any £1000 ones I can buy are probably only £600 worth of parts so until I bump into a PC builder I'm going without.

I'm going to double dip on the Complete Edition of The Witcher 3 for PS5, import this Vanillaware art book from Japan, pre-order this visual novel for the Switch, and also snag Slitterhead. Oh, and maybe Space Marine 2 if I find a good deal around Christmas.
