Replaying Doom 3 right now. Solid game, nothing to brag about. 6.9/10 Might check out Resurrection of Evil. Is it worth playing?

I'll be picking up Shadow of the Colossus late this month or early next month. Might reactive my WoW account.

The only three games I've even played the past few weeks or so are:

Atari Retro Classics for the DS

Perfect Dark for the N64

GoldenEye: Rogue Agent for the Cube

Haven't really had loads of time to play anything, but I've been making my way through...

Both rock (especially Ouendan).

- Just beat RE4
- Halo 2 on Live every night
- SSX On Tour for shits and giggles
- Deciding which game to start next: FFX, Metroid Prime 2, or Shadow of the Colossus

Played: The Punisher (Xbox); much better than I thought it was going to be

Playing: WWE Day of Reckoning 2; haven't played a wrestling game in 5 years, this one kicks so much ass

Playing Soon: Jade Empire; the demo I played a couple months back was good, hope the game is

Just Finnished COD2 and the expansion pack, cant wait for COD2

Currently playing WRC4 while waiting for WRC5 to get released.

Trauma Center: Under the Knife

and I really want to import Super Princess Peach for some reason..

(and I've never imported anything..lol)

I nearly picked up Serious Sam2 at Best Buy today, but held off because I want to finish up FarCry Instincts first. I'll grab it sometime next week.

SOCOM 3 owns me. It owns me so much that I now have a waiting list! :lol

Waiting List:
Virtua Tennis PSP(played like 30-45 minutes max)
Castlevania DS (last week of Nov. I'm on vacation in Cuba, so I'll be playing all the way there)
Castlevania AoS (pretty much completed)
Burnout Legends
Burnout Revenge

Games bought at very low prices that I'll trade towards Shadow of the Collosus and GTA on PSP

Legend of Kay (not bad, the voice acting is the worst I've ever heard.. both french and english suck hard)
Genji (cool game but I don't think I'll ever play it again)

I hate autumn/winter.

Ninja Gaiden Black and Fantastic Four since they both came in the mail (rentals) yesterday. Fantastic Four is doody, but you knew that.

OK, now I am playing Code Age Commanders. I saw it for a bit cheaper than most shops today so I grabbed it. I don't often pick up games on a whim, but what the hell...

I don't know WHAT to think about it so far. It's WIERD as hell. The combat isn't half bad and seems like it could be interesting based on all of the tutorial stuff. The presentation is incredible and the music is actually really good. Perhaps I'll write more on it when I've put in more than 30 minutes. One nice thing is that it has been a breeze to read/comprehend.

I'm a bit worried that it's going to turn out rubbish, though, as I haven't read anything about it around here. Is there some horrible secret hidden in there?

Came with a bunch of bonus stuff, though, including a really nice hard cover book...

book.jpg

Oh yeah, random question...

Was Wild Arms ACF -REALLY- that bad? I love the soundtrack, but have no clue about the game. It's dirt cheap, but I've passed it by twice. I don't remember hearing much good about it, but I enjoyed the other WA titles (somewhat fun games...with problems).

Check the gamefaqs board as you might miss out on some gameplay things since there are like 40 tutorials and the control/gameplay is kinda complicated.

I haven't started a thread as I'm writing something up for it at 1up after I've gotten more time with the game.

But I'm almost done with Gene's arc (game is broken up between 4 characters each with a 5-7 hour long game) and it definitely doesn't turn to crap, but it can be pretty cheaply difficult on some missions. Don't worry you didn't buy a dud.

One thing though: HOLD L1 AND YOU CAN MOVE THE CAMERA WITH THE RIGHT ANALOGUE WHILE MOVING. The tutorials don't mention this (well under help they do) and it's incredible useful.

Also learn about arm evolving, crisis ~~~ morphing, and definitely about using oteros.

I didn't get it but I heard it was REALLY that bad. I saw the game many times in Japan for <$10 but I never bought it. Even if they are cheap, bad games aren't worth the time you'll spend on them.

Ha ha, yeah, there are LOADS of tutorials. Don't worry, I read them all carefully. :P I never skip tutorials when dealing with games like this, as I know it could kick my ass later.

Regarding the camera...

It DOES mention this in the game. Look at the options menu at the bottom, it's there. I agree, it helps a TON. Shame there is no way to turn L1 into a toggle or something...

For the last week I only played Morrowind. The hype for Oblivion is just to much for me, so I had to do something about it.

When I heard that the extensions changed the journal into something useable I bought the GOTY Edition (15€ at amazon), but forgot that the English savegames (for my old Morrowind copy I bought for 1€ @ ebay) wouldn't work with the German version I bought at Amazon.

So I had to start all over again, this time with a custom race, plenty of cash (al legit of course), a cool shiny steel armour and still 99% of the map covered by the fog of war. I guess this game will last at least until GTA:LCS comes out.

Asteroids Deluxe cocktail! I've wanted one for years and found this yesterday for $100. The keen observer will note that the top-glass has been replaced, but I should be able to find an original somewhere down the line. It's in great shape otherwise, and works perfectly. And all these years later I still totally suck at it.

In other news:

- Finally finished the last "true" ending in DoS, starting Julius mode now.
- Also playing Phoenix Wright / Ouendan / Lost in Blue / Trauma Center.

That's quite nice especially for the price. You got a nice piece of furniture + a game, good deal.

Right now, it's Ouendan, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for me. I'm replaying MGS3 as well.

Planning on importing Phoenix Wright, we'll see about that.
