Death Jr.

Solid game, but still a C+, not a B+ like SOME WEBSITES insist. The camera is tiresome, but when youre fighting something the games fun level bumps up quite a bit. Then drops as soon as the action ends.

Dungeon Siege II

Better than the first, but still sorta meh on the radar. I think ive just become horribly jaded towards the action RPG genre on PC. All the 3D stuff looks like neverwinter nights. Save Sacred who's euro influences saved it from that.

Devil May Cry 3

Leagues better than the first two, and probably the first Devil May Cry ive actually enjoyed a lot. The introduction of honest to goodness skill based gameplay is a welcome change.

About 10 hours in, I really like it, although sometimes the mountains of text and voiceover gets a little dry.
 
I am playing DS2 also.. loving it so far... much much better than the first one... this is the first action rpg that I have really gotten into...
 
metal slug 4, which isn't nearly as bad as i'd remembered. i'm looking forward to spending some time with 5, once i've gotten passably good at 4.

also shaman king: master of spirits on gba. which i picked up cheap and complete, and is a very decent metroidvanialike.
 
I'm back to just playing BF2. Anti-Tank is my new favorite kit on non-urban maps now. I'd like to play one of the half-dozen or so PSX RPGs laying around but I'm never able to push myself to even start one. bleh.
 
Just got my Xbox back but here are some of the games i have been playing:

- Madden NFL 06-XBOX not doing so well in the leauge, i'm sure i will break out of this slump

- Metriod Prime-GCN just starting to play it for the first time, and so far so good, i'm loving it...still trying to get the lock on down, but it's good

- Yourself Fitness-XBOX in before gayming Age comment :D It's pretty good workout "game" i can really see myself doing this for a while and it has really help in excercises that i have never thought of...i feel a burn even if it's a 15 minute work out...that's good

- Gran Turismo 4-PS2 just completed a series of races, i hit a wall a few weeks back being broke and not knowing what race to enter than i found my stride...got some cash now and progressing well.

4 was slapped together by some korean outfit, and at the time i thought it was total crap...but i'm actually enjoying it now, even if it is a step back from metal slug 1. i've only played 5 briefly, but it seemed much better, if not up to the level of the real metal slugs. it's $40 for both games, which is a bargain, anyway.
 
Dragon Quest 3 (GBC Remix) - Finishing it up, but hopefully not too soon because I have to wait on my copy of DQ4.
Digital Devil Saga - Slowly plowing through this. I'm not liking it as much as SMT3 though. Something is a bit off about it.
Final Fantasy 7 (Japanese version) - I was trying to get pumped for Advent Children, but with the delay, I've slogged off a bit.
Maybe I'll log into WoW for a little bit, but I'm goddamned sick of Scarlet Monastery and grinding in STV sucks ass.

Found it for cheap. After RE4 I'm having a hard time drudging through this. I enjoy the story but not the gameplay. On the second disk and having a hard time turning my GC back on.

In the backlog:
Tales of Symphonia
replay RE4 again
want to buy SimCity 4 for some reason, just have a craving
 
Until RE4 came out Code Veronica was considered to be the true successor to RE1 and the best RE to a lot of people. RE2 was a great game in terms of mechanics, but nothing about it felt like SURVIVAL horror. Code Veronica felt more like OH SHIT IM LOW ON AMMO, even IF the ammo was for dual uzis.

Yeah that's part of it. I used up just about every piece of ammo I had facing off with that Tyrant boss and I dunno, just don't feel like going at it again. Might just leave it be for a while and move on to my next game.
 
Rush 2049 on the Dreamcast. Someone deleted my profile so I had to start all over again. I have no idea why I'm doing it though as I'll just have to do it all over again in a few months, but it is a fun game.

I noticed that a lot of the coins almost require the cheats to grab because they are in such idiotic places. The desert stunt level is a good example. hell, all of the stunt levels are good examples.

And, of course, the greates multiplayer FPS ever made. Played some great matches in this last night. Will I be playing it this weekend? Depends on if I can get it on the PCs in the dorm computer lab.

Shit that might be played: Killer 7, DMC 3, IIDX, Serious Sam.

Great game....specially in multiplayer.
 
Front Mission 1: to me its Advance wars with some more depth.

Vagrant Story: I REALLY should spend more time on it, because i do love it, but...
 
I SHOULD be playing AW: DS, but I cheated this weekend and got drunk pretending to bang on Taiko drums with some mates.

I also gave Hulk PS2 a small playtest and came away disgustingly impressed. More explosive than Mercenaries, more agile than even Spiderman. Shit, the man turns cars into steel gauntlets, rips missile launchers from tanks and throws the warheads at helicopters like javelins, even the intro video shows him surfing on a broken semi through downtown traffic. This IS one hell of a videogame!
 
I found Second Sight new for 12 bucks. No GameCube where I am, but I'll play it when I get home. I like Psi-Ops and I like TimeSplitters 2 and 3, so I figure I'll like this.

I have a friend who buys AW games, plays them for a couple weeks, then sells them to me. I'll get AW:DS soon.

Second sight is a good game, far from perfect but i liked it better than psi-ops....
