What are you playing?

I actually LIKE reading what everyone plays, even more so after skipping out on gaming more or less, barring WoW, this holiday.

So, what is everyone up to?

PC:

WoW; plodding along when I get the time, fun stuff, balacing out questing and grinding on my Rogue. Gonna make an alt. soon.

PS2:

Nightmare of Druaga; I honestly havent sunk much time into it, but its my type of game, and the quests are right handy if I need to blind out any concerns in my life with PURE STRESS.

Suikoden IV; Sinking most of my time here, I love it, but I'm a total lush for the series mythos and staples. Guilty pleasure to the max, though. Oh well. Fanwise: 2 >> 3 > 4 > 1.

GBA:

Warioware; Played during loading times of all the above. And probably will remain exclusively in my GBA until the next Fire Emblem, or I get "unsick" of Zelda.

Been trying to unlock the final extra mini-games since, oh...release? Got everything else, and have seen every mini-game (I think the requirement is simply to play 'em all once) 'cept a single one on the final stage. Blah

Xbox : PGR2 on Xbox Live, as always. Eagerly waiting for my copy of Stranger.
PS2: FFX / ICO, and then Dark Cloud 2. The joy of ignoring a system and getting it years late :)

Music.

Last game i played was Ridge Racer DS. It'll probably be another week or two until i play another game, as i've got to wait for my tv tuner card to arrive.

Ace Combat 4. What a great game.

4p multiplayer Smuggler's Run 2. Best 4p game I've ever played. The amount of cursing coming from me and my friends during this game is just too much. :lol

Still in backlog are Mark of Kri, Zone Of The Enders 2 and Splinter Cell PT.

One and only one since I got it, GT4. Picked up a super cheap brand new copy of Kuon yesterday at ~US$7.7, watched for a while and pop the GT4 back in. Ha ha !

DQVIII - about 40 hours into it and being thrilled to bits at every turn. What an immensely enjoyable RPG! Will I finish it before the wife gets back though, that is the question.

Lumines - got all the challenge mode skins and hit a brick wall in vs. mode so downloaded a save file and am trying to finish off puzzle mode.

BreakQuest - that fantastic new indie-developed Breakout game for the PC that many people are ranting about. Download a demo here.

Not touched anything else besides them in weeks now, though I am thinking I should play more MinGol and Mojipittan on my PSP.

Right now, I'm playing Resident Evil 4, Suikoden IV, and Advance Guardian Heroes.

I have many games to move onto, some of which I just bought, but I vow to finish one before I start another.

PS2
At the end of Onimusha 3

PSP
Ridge Racers (at the end too)

GBA
Kuru Kuru Kururin / Fire Emblem

GC
Nothing...Have to beat the last Bill Hatcher level though...

PSX
Fear Effect 2

Tekken 5: sooo good. Best fighting game ever! I can't get enough.

NBA JAM(arcade): too much fun in multiplayer.

Metroid Prime 2: Good, but kind of boring. I keep changing my mind between it being a chore to complete and liking it.

I just beat Tenchu Wrath of Heaven again in preperation for Fatal Shadows and I'm always playing various fighting games. Lately it's been Tekken 4, X-Men: COTA, Vampire Savior, SF II CE and the first 3 MK games.

PS2: Gradius V as always, polishing my style up. Viewtiful Joe 2 as well and sometimes ESPN NBA 2K5

XBOX: Outrun 2 most of the time and Metal Slug 3.

Gamecube: Mario Kart DD and Donkey Konga JAP

Just finished DQ8 (101 hours) and now I can finally get back to playing Beatmania IIDXes. 8th at the moment.
Maybe I'll do some more Psyvariar 2 if I have time, and return to getting some Nethack games in while I'm at it.

GC

Paper Mario TTYD: Great game, wait for my component cable to arrive from NOAus until I continue into chapter 2.

Xbox

Samurai Warriors
Morrowind GOTY:ED (finished the main game and bloodmoon onto tribunal)
Burnout 3

PS2: Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon (Found it for only 15 euros)
GTA San Andreas (Finally made it to Las Venturas)

PS1: Final Fantasy VIII (Trying to finally finish this game)

GBA: Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars (Just getting the story straight)

DS: Mario 64 (72 Stars and counting)

GC: Soul Calibur 2 (Making my way through story mode)

PS2/PSX:

- Suikoden 1+2 (I wanna get into the series again before playing part 4)
- KoF Maximum Impact

GC:

- Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3

PC:

nothing right now

GBA

- Minish Cap (I still have to finish it)

PS2 - FFXI (but that's a constant), La Pucelle Tactics, thinking about giving Xenosaga another shot.

GameCube - Finshed RE4, Currently on the last leg of Baten Kaitos, may get Paper Mario 2 later on and with probably play RE4 again soon.

GBA - Kingdom Hearts, Fire Emblem, FFTA, FFI&II... whatever really, probably getting Zelda today

PS2: Ratchet & Clank: UYA, Burnout 3, ESPN NFL 2k5

Xbox: Going to start Mercenaries as soon as I finish R&C

GBA: Getting Zelda soon

DS: Gathering Dust

Xbox: Madden 2005- just started my pre-season.

DS/GBA: LoZ: The Minish Cap - doing some exploring. I only play it on the subway and I've only passed the first dungeon so far. Wish I knew about sleep mode earlier. :\

PC: WoW - Started over as a Druid yet again. Level 8. Though, I haven't played in a couple of days.

I think this weekend I will finally get back to my backlog :P

PC:

Rush On Seven Episodes - maybe not the best MMORPG ever, but it's free, it's available for Europeans (unlike WoW, for example) and it's quite fun. Actually, had it been any better, I probably would've been stuck in front of the computer day after day... :P

Xbox:

Psi-Ops - really fun game, until I ran into that freakin' glitch that made it almost impossible to beat a boss. There's a way to avoid the glitch though, but that required you to have an earlier save file, which I didn't.

GC:

Paper Mario 2 - It's not quite what I expected, but still decent fun. Hopefully it'll get better the more I play.

Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes - Got it cheap, so I won't complain too much. The game doesn't feel very polished though...framerate going up and down, characters looking rather off, and where's the lighting? Also, the gamecube controller just isn't suitable for this game, period. The new cutscenes were nice, except for a number of instances when it just became silly with all the "cool" sound effects and camera works. It's like EVERY cutscene just had to be "cool". Guess I complained too much after all, but it was a fun game (too bad I've already played the original a number of times before). And I finished it recently, so technically I'm not playing it anymore. :P

PS2:

Legacy of Kain Defiance - Wow. That was my first thought when I finally got to control Kain. The difference from Soul Reaver 2 is a LOT bigger than I had imagined. 60 fps, smooth animations, detailed textures, better controls and a camera that you don't have to control anymore (that "points" where you can go, great because I got lost a number of times in Soul Reaver 2). For some reason, I sense Devil May Cry vibes in this game (at least with Kain). I haven't played much, but I'm very impressed so far.

GC: starfox adventures, just for fun.
GBA: minish cap, too short, but really fun
NDS: mario64 and mr driller, both are just great!
PS2: Pro evolution Soccer2, the greatest soccer game on earth.

PC: zzz

PS2:

Dark Cloud 2 Started Chapter 5 with cheats :P

Breath of Fire Dragon Quareter Biocorp lab with cheats :P

Ace Combat V Beat once on hard now Unlocking stuff

Sly 2 : In India, going to steal the clockwork parts now

I'm currently playing Fable on Xbox, waiting for Suikoden IV. MGS3 is on ice because of
The End
. I should also go on in PoP:WW.

Currently playing:

PC: Half-Life 2. Got it as a Christmas present. Started in but haven't had the time to really sink my teeth in yet.

Xbox: KOTOR II. Still trying to finish this one up. Very close to the end. I want to complete it so I can focus on some other games. Also playing Mercenaries. Picked it up last week, really enjoying it so far, but need to finish KOTOR II so that I can focus on this title, which looks to be far more enjoyable.

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: I'm at the final boss now, and what annoying he is....gotta keep on trying.

Ratchet & Clank: Locked & Loaded: Picked this one up a week ago, so progressing nicely now. The best platform series this gen imo.

GC:
Resident Evil 4. Should be done by now but work has been hell. And I don't want it to end (teh game).

A bit of Alien Hominid. Great game.

Xbox:
A tiny bit of Mercenaries. Halo 2 online once in awhile.

PS2:Nothing.

I think I might go out of town for the weekend. Wish I had a PSP :(

I think I might hook up the Dreamcast this week. Might buy a Treemcast.

PS2: Dark Cloud 2, Suikoden IV (just got it today! :D)
GC: The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, Tales of Symphonia
GBA: Fire Emblem, Pokemon Sapphire
Xbox: Burnout 3, Halo 2
PC: Nothing, waiting for my new system... This one sucks immensly!

Resident Evil 4 (GC): Everythings pretty much taken a back seat for this one - best Action/Adventure game I've played since Ninja Gaiden.

Astroboy (PS2): Found this pretty cheap so decided to give it a shot. Pretty decent game, tho it seems geared towards kids - shouldve expected that.

Blinx 2 (Xbox): I'm one of the 7 people that actually bought this game, so far I like it alot more than 1 (1 was great imo) - I like switching between the pigs and cats, and making up your team was pretty funny. Alot less stressful than 1, mainly because of the clock, but we'll see how tough the later levels get.

Baiten Katos (GC): About 8 hours in so far, really fun game - love the combat system. The card combos and whatnot seem infinite, seems like it's gonna be a long ass game.

Alien Homminid (GC): Fun Metal Slug type game, tho it's hard to spot bullets sometimes. Played co-op a few times, really fun stuff.

Warioware DS (DS): Hasnt left my DS since I got it for xmas, probably because it's freakin awesome, and theres no other god damn games for this system.

Counter Strike : Source - I gave up playng for a while because i sucked so hard, but got back into it last week when someone made a topic regarding the new map being released. Played it a little and either their are allot more noobs playing (as they are apparently called) or i have actually gotten better. Though my play style is really Temperamental as some games i will go 18 - 2 and pull of 3 head shots in the case of 2 seconds with the Desert Eagle (ok it happened once) then 15 rounds later i'll be 18 - 17. O_o Hell tonight i went 4-11, then the next game (on the same map, same people) I went 22 - 5.

Zelda : Minish Cap - Just started, seems ok but i have yet to get to a dungeon so my guess is it gets much better. Sounds really good for a GBA game too, I actually turn it up rather than turning it down. :p

I just got a Neo Geo so I've been playing alot of Magician Lord, Ghost Pilots, and Samurai Shodown 2.
Other games I've played recently:
PS2: King of Fighter 94 Rebout, Psikyo Shooting Collections Vol.1 & Vol.2, Samurai Spirits Zero
GC: Resident Evil 4
GBA: Legend of Zelda:Minish Cap
Xbox: Hasn't been touched since Dec.
DS: Super Mario 64 (mostly the mini games)

PC:
Regular doses of BF1942

Xbox:
Here's where the backlog begins...
Mechassault 2 (FIX THE GODAMNED ONLINE CONQUEST MODE MS!)
Mercenaries (fun stuff)
Punisher (sadistic and FUN)
Halo 2 (gotta finish it)
ESPN NFL 2K5 (fuck you EA)
ESPN NBA 2K5 (fuck you EA)

PS2:
GTA: San Andreas (I just can't seem to get into it)
Regular doses of Smackdown Vs. Raw

Currently:

Suikoden IV

In backlog:

Skies of Arcadia Legends
Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Lord of the Rings: The Third Age
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles

PC:
WOW, and when the servers are down, AO (yeah, I got the yearlong free trial thing. never played it before and wanted a sci-fi MMO to play super casually. so far so good, I can accept the dated graphics), Planescape: Torment (been replaying this after a couple years away from it, and it feels a lot like new. still the best story I've seen in any game)

consoles:
nothing new on GC/PS2/Xbox yet (going to rent RE4 soon though), but I've been playing Lufia 2 on my SNES and it's still one of my favorite games ever.

in reality I'm playing WOW almost exclusively, but when the server I play on is down I either play AO or Torment... and basically when I'm in bed but can't get to sleep, I play Lufia 2 and do a little jaunt into the ancient cave. It's not a boring game really, but since I'm just running the first 20 floors of it in the hope that I will get a decent item or two that I can keep, my characters are pretty overpowered for those floors so I really don't have to focus much at all on battles.

metroid prime 2 - it all just clicked last night. i think i prefer this to the first one :p
paper mario TTYD

Fucking nothing! Tried going through my backlog but just keep failing and failing.

Toejam & Earl III (Fun as hell, then I got so sick of being constantly underpowered and by the halfway point in the game pretty much every enemy is stronger than you and it just got so old. Also I can't stand ice levels.)

Splinter Cell (Really, really enjoyed the mechanics. Went fucking nuts over the crappy trial & error gameplay that would have me trying to get past the same easy spot 15 times in a row until I figured out exactly what UbiSoft had in mind for that place. Repeat? No, power off!)

Kung Fu Chaos (As the game gets harder, the cracks get larger and larger. I'm supposed to be blocking and countering like a madman with that way zoomed out camera? Yeah, right, power off!)

Futurama (Wasn't very good, but I wanted to view it as a long episode and forget its flaws. I failed. Got so sick of the crappy platforming by just the second level that I hit the power button within minutes.)

NFSU2 (I really want to hit up some drag and drift and mod my car, but I just can't be bothered to get to know yet another enormous in-game city before I get anywhere. This trend needs to die, please.)

Next up: BloodRayne 2. I am not expecting it to break the trend.
