What are your favorite lightgun games?

Inspired by soundwave05's thread, I'm curious to know what your favorite game(s) are in this genre.

I haven't played too many, but i dig Elemental Gearbolt (a seemingly impossible game to beat) for its aesthetics and Police 911 for its trippy motion sensing technology (did someone say Revo?).

time crises 1 through 3. i think the arcade version of time crisis 1 is still my favorite. so pure.

Ghost Squad = Made me into a Sega ligthgun fanboy again. Selectable difficulty levels, multiple paths, "mini game" scenarios, large arsenal of guns, selectable characters, hawt gun...fucking awesome

Time Crisis series = Pedal pump action for the win

I wish they had a target practice mode in Time Crisis.

I still enjoy just shooting those ducks in Duck Hunt, but the technology just blows so much compared to the light guns of today. I would love to have a mini game like that though in the next Time Crisis with the GunCon.

Back to the topic, I love almost every Sega light gun game and Time Crisis is also sublime both at home and on the PS2.

Not a huge lightgun game fan, but I would say the Virtua Cop series has the most impact for me, especially the first one (didn't play part 3 much though).

House of the Dead series was nice too (again didn't play part 3 much too :p)

the lightgun support in sega cd snatcher was horrendous. good idea, but it just didn't register shots accurately. i defy anyone to get through that last action sequence using a lightgun.

Elemental Gearbolt and Vampire Night - yeah, I said it. Give me an overblown fantasy environment to shoot people in the face in and I'm yours.

Time Crisis 2 & 3
and I can't decide between them. I know 3 is probably a deeper game, but I love 2 so much.

HOTD2 is fun too. It was the initial reason I pre-ordered a DC.

point blank series is my favorite, but i generally like a lot of gun games

T2 comes to mind by being all time old favorite

Is there a Sega Ages Virtua Cop?

Point Blank series (including Oh Bakyuuun!) are the all-time best in my eyes, but everyone should check out the best lightgun platform game since Gumshoe, Rescue Shot Bubibo.

I always loved the Justice Shots in Virtua Cop, so I'll go for the original.

Been playing much Point Blank lately, too.

Area 51 arcade is the best. Backgrounds are fully destructible. Crazy bonuses include shooting river fish. There's an office environment where you go into the boss' office and shoot the alien (ahem) sitting at his desk. And if you only shoot those blue-suited STARR comrades (and not the aliens or anything else), you can play as an alien and use an alien gun. I was very disappointed that the next gen console version of Area 51 is another generic FPS.

The Jurassic Park (was it called The Lost World?) Sega game was awesome. Other favourites are Virtua Cop and Virtua Cop 2. I had so much fun playing those on Saturn. Point Blank series is great.

Jurassic Park
Time Crisis 2
L.A Machine Guns (though the rumble of the gun gets really annoying after a while)
HOTD2

i always liked HotD1 over 2. Time Crisis series were always great, espcially Crisis Zone with the machine gun. Terminator 2 was cool for its time too.

Konami's 911.

My ass is still pretty chapped that this hasn't come out for PS2 EyeToy.
Great game.

The only bad thing i have to say is that its targeting system isn't quite as accurate as a Guncon.

Thats actually one game i wish I would have gotten for my dreamcast but i had always heard the the light guns that came out here in the US really sucked. I wasnt really up to date on video game news then, so maybe that was the problem.
