Planetside
Guitar Hero
Phantasy Star Online
Turn based Final Fantasy RPGs
Traditional 3D Zelda

Oh and you know what? I miss decent Flash games.

- Bonus.com when it had good shit like SuperKid, that doritos looking shmup, and the MMO tank game.
- The Emo Game on Albino Black Sheep.
- Toonami's website that had a bunch of good shit like the Invader game, the DBZ and Gundam rock paper scissors games
- Lego.com had a bunch of decent flash stuff as well

Halo 2-3 multiplayer during its prime. Us kids could be pissed at each other. Nothing a good old halo 2 / 3 game wont fix.

Multiplayer of this one was fun - and free!

I never played it, and don't ask me why or how I found it, but I really liked and still like Ed Harrison's soundtrack for this game.

Oh man Killzone multiplayer was also amazing.

On the NeoTokyo side of things, I first heard about it on /v/ back in the day. There would be a bunch of people on 4chan that would jump on during the weekends and play.

OG Unreal Tournament was the absolute peak of arena FPS, even better than Quake 2.

I miss those days.

Halo Reach

I know its still around thanks to MCC but playing reach back at its peak (especially Invasion mode) back in the 360 days right after graduating was just such an experience.

StarCraft Ghost
Deep Down

Mana / Seiken Densetsu (when it was great)
Tenchu (though the whole infiltration genre is dead at this point)
Thief
Bloody Roar
Megaman X
Actraiser
Earthbound
Castlevania
Ogre Battle
Vagrant Story (at least a remaster please)
Paper Mario

Last time I posted about it:

R.I.P. to Dungeon Runners.

That game was a comedy Diablo/PoE of the mid-2000s that made fun of it's own genre and stereotypes with good satire.

If only it had released the game 10 years after it actually came out.

Same goes for Auto Assault, another 2000s MMO that tried to be a full MMO version of Twisted Metal.

The MMO Boom of the 2000s made it so that all of these cool concepts were being put into massive online games, but there were too many of them being made by the dozen, so the creative ones unfortunately died rather quick to the big guys.

I think that is happening today with games like Fragpunk, which would have been a celebrated unique online shooter years ago, but now it's just lost in the flood of other games doing the same but with more bland results.

Heroes of the Storm not 100% dead but kinda dead.
First that came to mind as well.

Damn Blizzard for killing one of the most fun e-sports/competitive game ever.

The dream for their upcoming Blizzcon 2026 would be to see something like "Heroes of the Storm Reborn"(or something like that) being announced. It won't happen but a man can dream atleast. :')

Marvel Midnight Suns

At first I didn't understand it and dismissed it. Then I cane at it years later and realized theres some real strategy going on with some cool cinematic action. It's a shame audiences didn't catch on. The devs did a wonderful job.
