What dead game do you miss?

Battleborn got too muc hate , I miss it... I thought it was better than Overwatch and it was soo fun to play.
The thread title immediately made me think of Battleborn. I loved it -- something about Reyna's playstyle just clicked. I've been wondering if Deadlock might recapture that feeling, but haven't tried it yet.

There's still players though

Hawken. Fast-paced Mecha combat, but still somewhat grounded and that particular mix hit so hard. Some of the most fun that I've had with a F2P game at the time.

I want to add Monkey Island since we probably not seeing any sequel whatsoever.
Why not? Return to Monkey Island was received very well despite the initial negative comments about the art style, another sequel wouldn't be super expensive and a new kickstarter would always be successful.

Monster Rancher 1 to 4 on PS1 and PS2 , i know there's switch and PC version but the marketing line " Monsters are born from your CD/DVDs " still sells

Resident Evil Outbreak. Just a completely one of a kind experience that still hasn't been recreated.
Man it was so ahead of its time. I was jealous of Japanese players that were able to enjoy it. Weird that something similar wasn't recreated in this day and age. I know that people are still maintaining some servers.

100%! PSO2 ain't it.

I did play one of the private servers for this last year cuz I had an urge to revisit, and actually had a pretty fun time.

Part of the problem for me though is no multiplayer game does it for me anymore. I'm a lot more anti-social then I used to be. I used to text chat in all the old online games I played on Dreamcast, and when I played Final Fantasy 11...but times have changed, and actually making friends in online games is something that just doesn't feel like it happens anymore. I was also a different person, and I didn't realize how much of an annoying shit I probably was. I used to do emotes behind people in PSO on dreamcast that made it look like I was humping them because I thought it was funny. Now I'd get charged with sexual assault. I'm afraid to say anything in any of them now.

I thought Command & Conquer: Renegade was pretty cool but short lived, so short lived that I didn't get to play it online or on LAN or more than 3 players in total.
Being a fan of the series and more of a fps-player this irks me a bit. May be for the best tho, short lived games probably weren't that great anyways.

It might be somewhat back tho:

A good Diablo game.
Warcraft 3 Custom Maps.
Vanilla CS 1.6 and its custom maps - the discovery, the simplicity, creativity.
A good MonHun game.

Edit: I misread the thread title for "What game(s) do you miss?"

I saw Second Son on sale the other day and wondered why that franchise died. I remember them really nailing what it was like to have super powers and letting players have fun with them. But its been **checks notes** 11 years so maybe my memory is a bit messy.
