Also, I usually ping like shit when I play online, like yesterday almost 300 in TF2.
And this is supposed to be like the best Italian provider (Fastweb).

Fact is, there is a super high Fastweb executive living one block north of me and he brought Fastweb optic fiber up to his building, living the rest of the area screwed in slow speed broadband...


Also, if there is some Italian GAFfers reading this, what provider would you suggest?

It's Sapo Fibra, I've had it for years (coming from sapo ADSL), paying the $35 for internet + free unlimited phone (took the $10 as the phone part). It's contracted as 100/10 but I get 100/20

I'd grab some tinfoil and wire to try and pump that up to a whole number. You sure there's nothing better to choose from?

Not that i can find. It's not always this slow...it will go up to a 500k/sec or so sometimes.

I have verizon and charter to choose from and both are unavailable here. It's funny i must get like 4 letters from charter a month and they all just tell me to sign for up Charter TV lol

The only thing else is 'Unwired Broadband' but its like $70/month and its only 1.5mbps. Oh, they also charge at least $200 to install(that's if you sign up for 2 years). I can't really believe it would be much better and for that much more money, forget it.
