What do you think about Kindom hearts chain of memories

I am not sure what everbody thinks, but personally I think it's pretty boring. I've been repeating the same action, open door, beat up some monster, open door beat up some monster (* repeat about 6 times) open door beat up boss. Is there fun some where in the later part of the game ?

This inventive cycle you describe - "open door/beat up monster/repeat" is, in an abstract fashion, the cornerstone of, say, 90% of all video games created. If you don't enjoy that, perhaps you should consider a new form of entertainment. Try a trowel and some soil, perhaps. Gardening may be more your forté.

well, maybe it's just me, but I expect much more exploration/adventure in a RPG game.

the thing is, I don't even get to choose to talk with which NPC. Yes it does tell a story ... but it's nothing more than an interactive story book.

by the end of the day (I hope I am wrong) Chain of memories seems like one really big dungeon, it was fun for the first few bosses ... after that it's just old ...

I have to agree with the original poster. I don't find it as interesting as the first one, and I find myself playing just to see how the story advances in anticipation of KH2.

See what you mean. I'm doing Minish Cap myself at moment and its very limiting to rely on GBA game as your sole source of gaming for day. Sound, graphics, interaction, whoever called it equal to snes surely never played one on Cube with player.

I think the game is absolutely fantastic, and I'm loving it much more than the original (which, admittedly, I going to give another shot after I'm done with this one.) I just passed the 23 hour march, I'm level 65, and on floor 11. I love the added depth and strategy that this game has, and it does a NICE job of filling an ARPG gap on the GBA. That's ARPG, not traditional RPG. If you walked into this expecting a traditional role playing experience, well, then I'd just have to question your sanity, since the first was also an action RPG.

Granted, I'm overleveled to the point where the game doesn't really challenge me anymore, but I'm not overleveled because the game is unbalanced or because I love overleveling in ARPGs (which I don't) but simply because the combat is so much fun and gratifying. That good.

The game's biggest weakness, like that of the original, is in its dungeons, imho. But still, I prefer this "create your own" dungeon gameplay than the first game's mediocre worlds.
