The Orville - Fox

From Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy) comes 'The Orville', a one-hour science fiction series set 400 years in the future that follows the adventures of the U.S.S. Orville, a mid-level exploratory vessel. Its crew, both human and alien, faces the wonders and dangers of outer space, while also dealing with the familiar, often humorous problems of regular people in a workplace... even though some of those people are from other planets, and the workplace is a faster-than-light spaceship.

The Deuce - HBO

Created by George Pelecanos and David Simon (The Wire), this drama series follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York's Times Square from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s, exploring the rough-and-tumble world at the pioneering moments of what would become the billion-dollar American sex industry.

American Vandal - Netflix

American Vandal is a half-hour true-crime satire that explores the aftermath of a costly high school prank that left twenty-seven faculty cars vandalized with phallic images. Over the course of the eight-episode season, an aspiring sophomore documentarian investigates the controversial and potentially unjust expulsion of troubled senior (and known dick-drawer) Dylan Maxwell. Not unlike its now iconic true-crime predecessors, the addictive American Vandal will leave one question on everyone's minds until the very end: Who drew the dicks?

Sea Change - Lifetime

Sea Change, a supernatural drama based on the YA novel by New York Times bestselling author, Aimee Friedman, follows Miranda Merchant a teen girl on a journey to reunite with her estranged mother Amelia, who lives on a seemingly idyllic island off the coast of New England after the death of her father. As Miranda settles into island life, she finds herself torn between TJ, heir to one of the oldest Selkie families, and mysterious bad boy Leo who is part of the working class "townies." When Miranda learns about the Seawalkers, who, according to local legend, are half human and half sea creature, she begins to believe that they could be real. Ken Burns and Lynn Novick direct a 10-part, 18-hour documentary series that tells the epic story of the Vietnam War as it has never before been told on film. Get Krackin - ABC Australia/Seeso

Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney were barely qualified to host ”The Katering Show" on YouTube so nothing is going to stop them from dumping their mix of social awkwardness and unprofessionalism onto the bright chirpy world of Morning TV.

(Seeso is dead so who knows where/when this'll hit in the US.

Bad Blood - City

In this new series, Jack Whitehall, a popular young comedian, and his father, a posh old-school Englishman, travel together throughout Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia) where they'll learn a lot about the world and maybe a little about each other.

The story of 'Alias Grace' follows Grace Marks, a poor, young Irish immigrant and domestic servant in Upper Canada who, along with stable hand James McDermott, was convicted of the brutal murders of their employer, Thomas Kinnear, and his housekeeper, Nancy Montgomery, in 1843. James was hanged while Grace was sentenced to life imprisonment. Grace became one of the most enigmatic and notorious women of 1840s Canada for her supposed role in the sensational double murder, and was eventually exonerated after 30 years in jail. Her conviction was controversial, and sparked much debate about whether Grace was actually involved in the murder, or merely an unwitting accessory.

The series focuses on the crew of a European collaboration spaceship which, with the funding of an eccentric Swedish billionaire, has designs on being the first manned craft to land on Mars. Much to the dismay of all on board however, just before the culmination of their 10-month journey to the Red Planet they are made aware of a video sent by a NASA ship that has overtaken them and already landed on the planet thanks to a revolutionary engine technology that cut the travel time to a fraction of what it was for the Europeans. The bad news doesn't end there however, as the tape contains a cryptic warning from the Americans pleading with the crew not to land as something far too dangerous is happening on the surface. The crew then learns that the tape was sent days before and there has been no contact with the Americans since.

The three-part historical drama follows the story of the Gunpowder Plot, the 1605 attempt by a group of provincial English Catholics to blow up the House of Lords and kill King James I in order to help restore a Catholic to the throne. The plot was foiled on November 5 that year when authorities at Westminster Palace found Fawkes guarding the explosives. Brits still celebrate Guy Fawkes Night every year with bonfires and fireworks.

While he played a pivotal role, Fawkes did not devise the plan. The man who dreamed it up and was its driving force was Robert Catesby, a 30-year old Warwickshire gentleman and committed Catholic at a time when Protestant England persecuted the church's members relentlessly.
