You can use the eagle to mark enemies if i remember well...Assassin's Creed Origins
I was a bit on the fence in the beginning because it was much different and didn't nail the feel for me. I actually assassinated the first Masked Guy by accident and then it went to a 20 min flashback. I was so confused because the gold icon was in the temple, but now I realize that was an optional objective. I was probably not paying attention and just watching icons. I need to retrain my brain to pay attention to subtle details.
I really miss the eagle vision to highlight targets, but I'm getting used to the actual eagle/hawk/falcon (not sure lol). I just got to Alexandria and finally got the hood and hidden blade. NOW, it feels like AC to me.
Came back to praise Uncharted 2 again. Masterpiece so far, the difference from U1 is staggering . I hope I can finish it this weekend and then move to U3.
I know how the formula will hold for the next 2 games but U2 is fucking brilliant!
I'm fresh off my first playthrough of The Last of Us and immediately jumped into Uncharted 4. It's still just another Uncharted game, but it's done so well that I can look past that. Easily one of the best games of the generation from what I've played so far. Hoping to finish it tonight or tomorrow.
Final Fantasy VII Remake.
I've never, in my life, played a Final Fantasy before. I like it! What's next after I finish though? Honestly I'm not that into playing older games or turn based games, what of the more modern entries should I play?
Just finished Red dead redemption 2 on my PS4 pro. An amazing experience, I think the best of this generation along with MGS5.
Now I'm starting something less complex and challenging: Forgotton Anne
Then I'll be ready for TLOU2
Nah, uncharted 2 is by far the better one, i was engrossed with unchy2 and i didn't even finished the third one. You're in for a treat. U3 is just as good imo.
The story itself is so-so but arthur is a far better character than marston that is not even funny. If you've played RDR how would you compare it to RDR2 story wise?
Played RDR2 for a few hours then got sidetracked but planning on getting back to it soon. It came off as a lot slower than (story wise)
From the looks of it, FF15 and F13 would be the most similar to FF7R.
The other ones are turn based (F12 is a hybrid and F11 + FF14 are MMO's)
You can use the eagle to mark enemies if i remember well...
yep, same level of plot bullshittery7 Remake is unique, each ff is unique. Honestly the most similar to 7 remake is kingdom hearts 2, that isn't to say they are similar but i'd say it's the closest.
If your new, I'd say check out the OG 7, but it is purely turn based (But you can crank up battle speed to sorta make it look action ish)
Went back to the PS2 to play Suikoden 3 and original Luigi's Mansion on GC. My wife is more of a modern gen console gamer. She's playing Resident Evil Revelations port for the Switch and Super Smash Ultimate on the Switch as well. And why or why not would you recommend someone else to play it?
Please do not post unmarked spoilers.
I am currently playing Wolfenstein 2 on Xbox One X.
I would recommend playing it. It has surprised me with great storytelling and a mature but coherent plot. The visuals are stunning to me, and it is loaded with interesting personalities. Off the wall but good.
I do not recommend it if younger. The game is very mature in its themes and plots. This is definitely not a game for younger, not matured kids.
Chapter 2 in The Evil Within 2. I've spotted a couple of horror movie references. First is a carpet in the building where you investigating the bizarre photography murders. The carpet has the exact same pattern as the carpet in the interiors of the Overlook Hotel in Stanley Kubrick's The Shining.
The second movie reference is when you enter the first house after being chased by that gruesome creature with a chainsaw. The hallway in the house has the exact same structure as in the house that Nancy Thompson lives in A Nightmare on Elm Street. The staircase is positioned in the same way and even the front door is the same with the same design. It has a small glass window in the center of the door, which Freddy breaks when he is chasing Nancy in one of her dreams (Freddy taunts Nancy and has Tina's cut off face over his own.
For reference: Sticky staircase scene
You know, after thinking about it. Overall I like TEW2 a hell of a lot more then REmake3.
TEW2 has some great moments, the photographer boss battle, the camera boss fight.
