Unfortunately not the best Oddworld game.Look what the postman delivered today…
Yeah, it looks too clean… I liked the old rugged look of the game. I wasn’t a fan of the “new and tasty” either!Unfortunately not the best Oddworld game.
How is it?Elden Ring. A lot of Elden Ring. Nothing but Elden Ring for the past few days now. (for review)
It starts off slow, but stick with it - it gets much slower.Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It's a pretty slow start to this game, but still pretty good so far. I like how there's barely any mention of the animus stuff so far.
Yeah cause you played 0 compared to the very first one on ps2.Yakuza Kiwami - Great remake of a great game. But also kinda rough playing it immediately after Yakuza 0. The franchise got a lot better with the second game, and having one character in only one playable location immediately feels like a reminder that it is the oldest game in the franchise. Some of the boss fights are overly long spam festivals too. If this had been released further apart from Yakuza 0, it wouldn't be suffering so much by comparison.

Can't say much but...How is it?
Nah the game that was called like a dragon in the japan.Did you play Yakuza: Originzs on SNES? Soo good
How was Powerslave?Finished off Powerslave, and now digging into Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut. This got a translation patch last year, which has gotten a number of updates and a good amount of polish since, so I thought it would be a good time to jump in.
Tales of Destiny was one of my least favorite games in the series. Some of that was owed to the crappy localization, which cut out the skits that helped give the game some color, but it also just had brutal ecounter rates, a thin plot, and a simplistic combat system. And it had a larger cast that felt less developed (which could partly be due to the afforementioned cut skits).
Anyways, Director's Cut is a whole new ball game. Everything is remade and feels a lot like Tales of Eternia, which is one of my favorite games in the series. The script is a lot more fleshed out and the characterization is worlds better. There's tons of voice acting, and of course the skits are translated this time. The story itself is still not great, but it's a lot more forgivable when the rest is actually fun.
Really good remaster of an underappreciated game. They stitched together the best parts of the different versions in a way that felt totally seamless and looked right. There are a couple puzzles I found frustrating toward the end of the game, but overall I thought it was great. How was Powerslave?

Finished Bugsnax last night, so just doing all side bits for the trophies.
Planning on jumping into Death's Door once I'm done.
There's a DX version? I just bought the original for PS3.Atelier Totori DX
Holy hell, without a guide this game would be so demoralizing with how unprepared you can be entering new areas and missing out on events for all the endings.
Most of the endings are meant to be done in ng+. The game expects you to get the "regular" ending and then go from there.Atelier Totori DX
