I'm 70 hours in and it only got better.Metaphor Refantazio, 24 Hours in, incredible game.
Sometime around 2012 I played it for the first time. I didn't get it. I finished the game in two play sessions, found it easy and boring. I even wrote a review of it on the old PlayStation collecting forums. After putting it off for decades, I finally decided to give Symphony of the Night a shot.
I can honestly say it's worth the hype once you really get in it. The amount of care and detail they put into this game is mind blowing. There's a lot of exploration needed, but I never feel "stuck".

I keep wanting to play something else. I took a two day break to play through Ori and the Blind Forest (amazing game). I keep thinking I should play something else to give myself another break from Metaphor, but then I boot up Metaphor and just play it all day.
I meant to start Quantum Break by now.
I don't know when Ys Nordics will fit in.
Beat it in 2 play sessions? How is that possible?Sometime around 2012 I played it for the first time. I didn't get it. I finished the game in two play sessions, found it easy and boring. I even wrote a review of it on the old PlayStation collecting forums.
I decided to give it another try two years ago. Holy shnikes. It ended up being one of the best games I have ever played. This time I actually explored, discovered all the character stories, and played through the entire game. When I was done, I immediately wanted to start over. I also bought the Japanese OST CD.
Lost Judgement
Combat is such a joy in this game. I only wish it was a bit harder
Yeah. The first one is a good challenge but kinda simple, the second one is easier but imo a bit better with a cool mechanic that I won't spoil and the third, Aria of Sorrow, might be even better than SOTN at least gameplay-wise.Are the Game Boy Advance Castlevania games a good follow up to SOTN?
Not sure if that’s your living area, but if so it’s beautiful. Looks like a very nice house. In anticipation for Ghost of Yotei, I started Ghost of Tsushima a couple of weeks ago, and now, just platinumed it. Amazing open-world design, fun combat (although a bit easy and repetitive), and great story-telling with an emotional ending.
Almost all of the "content" is optional, and I believe the other half of the castle only appears if you do certain actions to trigger it. I went in completely blind, knew nothing about the game, and was watching the credits roll in just a few hours played. It was the "bad" ending, I guess. I didn't care. The game was easy and boring, so I moved on.Beat it in 2 play sessions? How is that possible?
Looks AI generated with the garbled book titles and such. Some of the books even block the screen. No gamer would do that. Not sure if that’s your living area, but if so it’s beautiful. Looks like a very nice house.
Haha, you might be right. Could be Ron Burgundy’s set up with the many leather bound books.Looks AI generated with the garbled book titles and such. Some of the books even block the screen. No gamer would do that.
I got it on sale for like 5 bucks. It really is one of the best FPS campaigns I've ever played. I'm enjoying BO6 so far, but I really wonder what COD would be like if Zampella and the crew stuck around.Re run Titanfall 2's campaign again. Excellent game.
I guess... if you like swamps, leapfrogging half the game, and the longest elevators/ladders/falls ever for the sake of fitting all this randomness together. The map and level design in DS3 is the coolest thing ever. First we get the beautiful scenic shot of the world when you step out from High Wall of Lothric, which I totally love by the way, and when you actually traverse the map, you can see the different locations from various points of interests you come by. There was stuff like this in DS1 and 2, but not to the extent of 3, which is doing this in an amazing fashion. There are some truly gorgeous vistas in this game.

I think its a mixed bag. Demon's Ruins and Anor Londo feel out of place (due to lower quality) as does Archdragon Peak (due to higher quality). This is not even going into how DLC content is very different.I think the world is very cohesive.
I really want to get it so bad! Hopefully soon.Halfway through Astro Bot. Ridiculously fun and creative. The gameplay is snappy and everything moves in a quick pace. The level design is excellent and the different locations are full of surprises and easter eggs to find. The game is basically a large celebration of Playstation history, but also of video games itself. Every stage so far has looked fantastic. Bright colors, cool effects and creative use of the Dualsense. The feeling I get from Astro Bot is kinda like playing Super Mario 64 for the first time. It's that good and inventive.
