What game are you currently playing?

Pokemon Pearl on DS Lite & Dragon Age: Veilguard.

I have a bunch of games I want to play next but REALLY not sure what to go with. Didn't expect Veilguard to be so long but I'm going for the Platinum.

Speak for yourself, bro :P

A fully maxed out Red9 + stock has every single bullet with the same power as a basic shotgun shell. The stock makes it practically as precise as a sniper rifle as well.

Best gun in the game as far as I'm concerned.
Speedrunners definitely prefer the Chicago sweeper and infinite rocket launcher. I really like the LE5 personally for the attachable scopes, ammo abundance, firing rate, and raw penetration. Remake Red9 is not nearly as good as in the original RE4.

Just finished the epilogue of Xenoblade X DE tonight. As I mentioned before, it is an incredible game. Now I need a decent palette cleanser. Can't go straight into another JRPG, especially not a long one, right off of 140+ hours in Xenoblade X. Maybe a shmup or an fps. I know COD BLOPS 6 has a free trial. I can't really justify buying BF6 yet. Any suggestions for a palette cleanser?

Got myself the Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete Edition from Gog. After playing the hd edition on Steam i've thought i want the complete edition everyone recommends.

Have you played all the Bungie Halo games? How about Gears of War Remastered?

Hi, thanks for these recommendations. I have MCC and GOW:R on Xbox Series X. I haven't finished Halo 2 yet. Already played Halo CE both back in the day and in recent years. I should get into GOW:R though. Never played it back in its zeitgeist on 360.

I started up a new file of Metroid Dread this morning but I wouldn't mind rotating Dread and an Xbox shooter, reading a couple of novels, and then getting back into Xenoblade 2. I love the Xenoblade games so much that I am always either playing one or between playthroughs of one of those games, with other games being in rotation alongside it.

Thanks so much again.

Well, yea, the Sweeper and IRL are bonus NG+ weapons.

Though the Sweeper is EXTREMELY nerfed compared to the OG too. The OG sweeper had 10 power per ammo, the remake reduces it to 1.6 or something IIRC.

After testing dozens of games, finally got one working in 3D on the steamdeck with my XR glasses, Doom 3: BFG. Never got into it before but this time it grabbed me. Slower paced than I was expecting, dark atmosphere and an unfolding story told through great voice acting.

Gears 5 - finished it yesterday. Act IV definitely was great. Just a linear warzone without all the wandering around. The ending came very abruptly. I could have sworn every other Gears game had 5 acts. Feels like they literally put the game out without finishing Act 5. Still enjoyed it but it was my least favorite of the series. I'd give it an 8 or an 8.5

On to Hivebusters.
