What game are you currently playing?

After Cronos, I beat Silent Hill F. Didn't like it nearly as much ad Cronos or Silent Hill 2 Remake for that matter. The gameplay was pretty below average. In fact, I think virtually everything but the story and atmosphere were below average. But I really enjoyed those so I'd say I liked it but not much more than that. Glad I dropped Borderlands 4 which sucked and was a total bore to get to those games or I'd still be on Borderlands now mindlessly traversing a boring ass world with nothing but repetitive combat in it.

Next up a laundry list of games: Little Nightmares 3, Twisted Souls 2, Hell Is Us, Ghost of Yotei, Outer Worlds 2, Ninja Gaiden 4, Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden Ragebound.

I can't remember a time I had a list of games that long on my immediate docket. Usually I have 2 or 3 and then reassess what I want to play after, but man September and October were loaded with games. And I still need to get to Lost Soul Aside a well at some point.

After doing 2 runs on Witcher 3 back on the PS4, im now playing it again on PC with Ray Tracing and all other graphic improvements they did, and the game still looks amazing. Only complaint would be how shity all Anti Aliasing options are available in the game. They are all terrible, by making the image too blurry or not doing much to eliminate the aliasing, but thankfully i could force DLAA into the game using the Nvidia app, making the image quality pretty much perfect, no blur and no aliasing.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Anything solo I have is missing the mark, or I played it to death already.

Anything multiplayer is depressing because I have no one to play with, and I'm not good enough to do well by myself in randoms.

It is sad and miserable.

Dragon Quest I via the I & II 2D HD version. I'm about 25 hours in and its probably my favorite game released this year. I also played through Devil Blade Reboot yesterday and it is wonderful, probably my favorite game I've played this year. I'm slowly working my way through Luigi's Mansion via NSO and having a good time, I really like the design of the mansion so far. Lastly, I reinstalled F.E.A.R. and played a few levels on my Stem Deck while watching movies.

Been playing Unreal. Game's the fucking tits, love the gameplay, visuals and the music a lot, plus some levels have a lot of exploration which is nice.

The star of the show must be the enemy AI, specially for the Skaarj who move around just like a multiplayer bot would. Makes for some fun shootouts.

I don't know if I should be ashamed, but in the last few days I've played all 4 episodes of Poppy Playtime back to back and it's been one of the best gaming experiences I've had this year! Can't wait for episode 5... The lore around it really got me. And some moments are really creepy!

EDIT: Okay, I admit it, I even got an official catnap plushy, which now stares at me when I sit on the sofa and it gives me the creeps everytime I look at it! 🤣

Have they fixed most of the issues with the game at this point?
Tbh I bought Stalker 2 on a whim.
I'm not altogether clued up on its issues.
I've had a crash, and I'm not that sensitive to resolutions but it seems to fluctuate.
I'm 20hrs in.
One itch you can't scratch is being unable to clamber onto low objects and grab ledges. (Unless I'm doing something wrong)

I've been bouncing between games a lot lately from my backlog but I had a long session today playing Doom II with path tracing. Anyone who's able should give it a try, feels like a remake of the game at times.

I think I ran out of steam on the factory level though. That's still one of the worst in Doom II.

Started playing MGS V again. Never finished it before and it jogged my memory of that fact when I saw someone else mention the game. Was it you, adamsapple adamsapple ?

The winter season and snowfall in AC Shadows is some of the best I've seen in any videogame.
Too bad the quest design is so lazy.

Love the change of seasons in that game. The visuals are highpoint though. The game.....meh.

Yeah, made multiple posts with pictures last few pages.

The game plays exceptionally well even after a decade.

My latest play through was way more enjoyable than I remember back when the game first came out, time and hindsight has made it even better.

Yeah man. I'm loving it. I'm just running around capturing outposts and getting resources right now. Side ops missions are great. Getting the hang of the mechanics takes a minute, but when it all starts jelling it is just fantastic.

Black Jacket Demo.

Very good. Not quite Balatro good but still very good. Better than dungeons and degen gamblers( simular blackjackish rougelike) but like that game too RNG dependant. A good deck just can all of a sudden lose, where in Balataro that seemed way less common. Still a deep very well done cardgame rougelike.

I just finished FFTactics (yeah that took me long enough) and really enjoyed it.

But with the last boss either my game bugged out or he was stupid easy.... I brought summoner to the fight and Ultima keeps going after him and no one else, so one of my character keep revive him and others keep attacking Ultima and this loop continues until I killed him, so basically Ultima died without using nothing other than regular attacks on my summoner.

Also forgot how depressing the ending was Delita and Ovelia just killed each other, the happy ending didn't last very long.

Went back to Dragons Dogma.
I forgot how fun the combat is.
Such a weird game, seems so half baked in many regards, yet the combat is sublime.
Going to wrap it up and start 2, which is languishing in my backlog.

Went to play my newly arrived lode runner disc and remembered that the console version has NO save and NO password. I have it on ps1 too, and I had forgot about that bullshit. It's wild. 150 levels that get fairly had and you are supposed to do that in one sitting.

But it has a level editor and you can save your levels?!?!? What the actual fuck. You couldn't save a byte to keep track of what level i'm on?!?? Totally useless versions of the game and now I'm the proud owner of both.

Zelda ALttP

Such an amazing game on every level. Playing via emulation and really nice shader. It looks beautiful to this day and is just a joy to play. I was tired of everything and wanted some comfort food, gladly forgot a lot of shit.

11/10

Had my 4th bossfight I think in Death Stranding 2 yesterday and I can't believe I saying this but this just may be the best game Kojima made since the original MGS. So much better than the first one in every way.

The only thing I find a bit lukewarm is the general plot of the game. So far most of the writing is just world exposition, which is nice and all, but to be blunt… not much is actually happening.

Got my 100% and platinum trophy for Dragon's Dogma 2 yesterday. Now I have to decide what to start next. Can't freaking decide

The Last Faith
Lies Of P
Cronos: New Dawn
AI Limit
Ninja Gaiden 4

Done with Tunic. I've collected all the manual pages and went for the true ending.

Now playing Another Crab's Treasure.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

Full of junk, questionable environmental design, and plenty of bugs. But it's really good, and it scratches that Skyrim itch that no other game has managed to. I just wish it wasn't so dark fantasy. I'm not a fan of that kind of setting.
