What game was this...

I think it was a trailer reveal on TGA (Geoff thingy).

It was a night, iirc, and there was a church, or some building, and in it we're women, and kids, maybe also men too, but not sure.

Outside some enemies were trying to get in, but we're killed by a masked person who later removed mask, and I believe it was a woman.

Anyone knows what I am talking about?

This project piqued my interest with its reveal trailer in late 2023 but I had completely forgotten about it until now since it went radio silent for a while. I still think it has a lot of potential, mostly because of the industry veterans involved.

I'm always down for this type of dark, gritty cyberpunk sci-fi aesthetic and it's clear that they're aiming to make this a full-on, AAA, big-boy new IP. The one major concern is that Tencent is providing the funding, and with how unstable the relationship between China and the US is at the moment—coupled with how long it takes to make a game of this scope—it feels like a coin toss whether or not it will actually come out.

Fun fact, though: Neil Druckmann's brother is the cinematics director and Troy Baker is the performance director (which might be a first for him?); there's some serious talent involved here, with the studio director having previously held that role at Rockstar for over a decade. They're not fucking around—I hope we see more of it soon!
