What games are you currently playing?

Trying oh so hard to play PDZ... i just cant. Its such a bore fest... and I am a huge fan of the first game. So out it went and I am playing Chaos Theory in 360 mode (wonderful to look at and play)

Anachronox on the PC again...

Kameo is significantly better than PDZ, as far as singleplayer is concerned, but that's not saying much. The platforming, exploration, camera, controls, combat, and puzzles in Kameo are all incredibly subpar. Some (combat and controls), more than others.

Noticed you playing Kameo much of the evening Mejilan, I was curious to hear your thoughts given how much time you seemed to be putting into it...wasn't expecting the hate.

Shame, I downloaded the demo and would consider it easilly the best looking piece of 360 software my HDTV has seen yet; the light puzzles and combat didn't seem very offensive either. :\

Went to the arcade last night and tried out two new fighting games. They also had Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection, but I didn't try it out. Maybe tonight.

Sorry I didn't join up for some PDZ when you signed on, had to finish up the Russian campaign in CoD2. Check out Dark Resurrection sometime though, I'm very interested!

Speaking of CoD2, Veteran difficulty almost ruins the fun of this game. I probably should tone it down for the remaining two campaigns just to experience the thrills without the frustration.

I just want to beat it.

Nothing else to play on X360 + 3 day weekend + Achievements/Gamerscore = incentive to play. I don't think this'll carry me through PDZ single player, which is just awful, but Kameo single player isn't quite THAT bad. :D

DMC3.

I'm up to mission... 2.

I had the game for months and I played a few minutes here and there but I'm only starting it seriously now. I've looked at guides and the amount of moves in this game is insane. Guns are upgradeable, swords have moves you can unlock and there are several swords, styles also open up new moves and if you pick gunslinger/sword master will increase the moves you can do for each sword or something. I'm sticking with trickster for my first play through however. One thing I wish the game has is some sort of practice mode where you can just test out the controls and get a feel for everything.

Trickster is the way to go your first way through.

And btw, you're playing some sort of "practice mode", those levels are laughable compared to others, scrape yourself :p

Currently I'm:

swearing over Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. Stupid crits!

swearing over Animal Crossing 'cause my coconout-tree never grew up

enjoying Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

It's a portable month for me during the holidays back home.

Singstar 80s

Picked up the 2 microphone pack, and its fucking awesome. EyeToy use is fab too.
I can't wait to suddenly set this up at a party or something... its gonna be drunken awesomeness ahoy.

Won't you come see about me, I'll be alone, dancing you know it baby...

A lot of Counter-Strike. Too bad it looks like Valve hosted a bukkake party in de_aztec and cs_militia after the last update. All walls are gooey and shiny =/

MK: Shaolin Monks - not bad!
Guitar Hero - if I can get everyone else to hand me the damn guitar controller! I swear, it's the ultimate "let me try" game.

My DS has been getting all of my gaming love lately between Animal Crossing, FF IV, and Mario & Luigi 2.

On the console side of things, I'm in the middle of Prince of Persia: T2T

Animal Crossing Wild World! And that's pretty much it.

Well, I've partially been playing:

Advance Wars DS
Mario Kart DS
God of War
Ico
Resident Evil 0
Resident evil 4

But still Animal Crossing has been getting the most love.

Started too many games at one time

X360
PDZ
Kameo
PGR3

PS2
Dragon Quest 8 (finally a new JRPG that I like a lot)
And I'm slowly but surely finishing Onimusha 2. I can go to 3 from there.
Shadow of the Colussus

Gamecube
Almost done with Killer 7
Pikmin 2

XBOX
Hulk Unltimate..(getting bored)
Ninja Gaiden Black

B0007XQ46Y.09.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

Which is easily worth the $10 for the title screen which consists of each voice actor in turn yelling out the title of the game.

And then the standard DQVIII and FFIVa which I should be nearing up completing soon.

I'm playing:
Condemned
CoD2
PD0
Geometry Wars
Mutant Storm
Hexic HD
Smash TV
Outpost Kaloki X (nobody else has this?) for my 360

Finishing up Phoenix Wright, Castlevania, and Partners in Time for my DS.
Also, there's some Fire Emblem for my Cube.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time -- Really good, but nothing super fantastic. The battle system is fun, but occasionally suffers from the usual SO repetitiveness, and the medievil world (Elicoor is it?) is getting kinda old. Me wants more space. Characters are good though, and the VA and especially the VA direction is surprisingly solid. Definitely enjoying my time with it. Can't wait to see more of the main plot.

Mario & Luigi: Partner's in Time -- Was really enjoying it when I started, but now I'm slogging through the rest, playing only an hour or so in the past week. The storyline just sucks even for what it attempts, I'm not feeling the humor and I'm tiring of the incessant precision jumping. I've even started disliking the GBA visuals, and I'm not quite sure why.

Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee -- More HSG goodness. This is easily one of the best games on the PSP, and definitely the most underrated.

Lumines, Gran Turismo 4 and Wipeout Pure -- No reasons necessary.

Gonna test out Popolocrois (PSP) and DDS1... and also gonna play DQ8, DoDonPachi (Saturn) and Shadow of the Colossus (6/16 cleared already!). Mostly Christmas stuff although I've had DQ8 since release (that's my top RPG priority).

DQ8
PGR
Diablo II
PD0
Star Wars Battlefront II
RE 4

Strange thing is that I'm not a big FPS Fan but I am really enjoying these shooters. PD0 is a bore fest on Agent mode, my sorry ass couldn't even die when I tried to in that mode. Secret agent has been entertaining me more though.

Animal Crossing WW - I don't think there's enough new stuff in this game, but I haven't played the Gamecube version for a couple of years, so it's not too big of a problem.

Phoenix Wright - Finally started playing this game yesterday, and played for 10 hours straight. Great game, although a bit too linear and restricting.

Primary game:
Animal Crossing: Wild World - Yeah, it's eating away my life right now. I never played the GC version, but this game owns and I have to imagine that it probably wouldn't if it had to be played on a TV.

Secondary games:
Super Smash Bros. Melee - I have yet to stop playing this game for more than three months since I bought it. Usually not even one and a half months. Only the Pokemon series sees more playtime from me than SSB.
Final Fantasy IV - I'm at the end, but I'm holding off until I know whether the random stat decreases from level 70+ are back. I'm practically OCD about that stuff in my RPGs and tend to wish that all levels were fixed stat gains.
Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix - DDR's kind of an always-playable game like SSBM. Obviously DDR experts wouldn't be too challenged, but I'm not one of them.
Pokemon XD - I'm resetting until I get a Bold/Calm Lugia, then I want that post-game Lucky Egg so I can have two for my GBA games.

Backlog of games I need to get back to:
Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green/Emerald - It's a neverending pursuit, really, since it's my favorite game series. Like I said, I'm kind of OCD about stats in RPGs, so right now I have something like 50 Misdreavus, 20 Vulpix, 30 Dunsparce, 25 Smeargle, 60 Ditto, 15 Skarmory, 140 Magikarp, and some others to run through an IV calculator and then release if they suck. The vast majority of them have 2-3 perfect stats due to a lot of breeding beforehand, so I'm selecting the best of the best here.
Mario Tennis Power Tour - Haven't levelled up to 99 yet on either of my two files, and I need to start my third file. Other than Pokemon and Tactics Ogre, this is probably the only GBA game I own that I can see myself eventually putting 60+ hours into. FFVI and Tales of Phantasia will join the list in 2006, though.
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - I'm at chapter 21 and this is a great game. It's just that so much stuff has been released for the GBA/DS since FE9's release date that I haven't had time to finish it. Thankfully, there's nothing I want coming in January and only Drill Dozer comes before Super Princess Peach in late February, so I should be able to finally finish FFIV, Pokemon XD, Mario Tennis, this game, and the next game...
Mario Kart DS - See FE9, but replace "chapter 21" with "the mirror cups."
Metroid Prime Pinball - Awesome as far as pinball games go. I only picked it up because I was able to find it for $30, but it was worth it. I still have a couple tables to unlock (I've seen them, but not unlocked them), but Animal Crossing just dominates my DS time.
Dr. Mario and Puzzle League - Eh, the small sprites on Dr. Mario were kind of a turnoff, but I'd at least like to put a bit more time into Puzzle League to see what all the hype is about. I might just be spoiled by Meteos, and I'm not sure how well this bodes for Pokemon Trozei in March.
Battalion Wars - I'm still trying to like it only because I know I'm not going to get much of my money back anyway if I get rid of it. But bah, I just don't get the appeal. The controls are wonky and the camera is far too imperfect for my tastes. Among other problems.

Backlog of games I haven't even started:
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 - Found it for $25, apparently a reissued version since it has the Nintendo DS logo on the back of the box instead of the e-Reader, and figured "eh, okay." I want to see what everybody's talking about with the toned-down difficulty on the GBA Mario games.
Ice Climber - It was $5 at Circuit City, so I figured it would have to be incredibly terrible to not be worth it. Unlike most of the other Classic NES Series, I've never played this or anything like it, so thought I'd give it a try.

Currently playing:

PDZ
I finished the game on Agent and Secret Agent but I suck really hard at Perfect Agent! For some reasons, I cannot stay more than 24hrs away from this game and I don't know why! Multiplayer is cool but I'm not too interested...

FFIV
Best game ever, officially portable now.

AC: WW
I play my daily 15 mins to sell my fruits and remove bad grass. Since I have a DS, I can carry FFIV and AC and play whichever I want.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - NDS - About 10% complete and I'm around LV 12. I just going around and killing the enemies. I always find myself lost so I wander around and fight enemies. I make progress, slowly but surely. Its an enjoyable game but not worth the hype. This is my second playthrough of this game. My aim in this game is to get everything.

Final Fantasy IV Advance - GBA - I forgot how plot-barren this game was. Its a good game but I'm starting to get bored with it. I remember that the game gets better so I'm still going to be chugging along.

I switch between games when I get stuck at some place. Then I go to GameFAQs and then continue on. I'll probably end up playing these games for months, which is fine since I noticed what little games there are up ahead. Next purchase is Super Princess Peach in February.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - Up to Chapter 12, such a sweet game so far.
Fire Emblem (GBA): Been working on this off and on since I got it about a year ago...I'm up to Chapter 27, holy shit, so many enemies.
Resident Evil 4 - Another game I've been working on slowly. I just can't seem to just play for long stretches, because it just frustrates me so much. It definitely is a sweet game...but the controls still get to me some times. I'm up to the part with the two Gigantes and that lava pit.
Super Smash Bros. Melee - It has enjoyed a comeback among my friends back home.

A reason why I've been taking so long to beat some games is because I didn't bring anything up with me to school. I will this term. I need it.

Resident Evil 4 (PS2): i am 4 - 1 in so far and not diggin' the shooting range -- sucking at it, unable to get beyond C, mild compleationist that i am, interest in the game is waning.

FF X-2: about 2 maybe 3 stages to go before the final, and in order to get 100% (in-turn, the good ending) a lot of stuff must be done. a lot of stuff. argh.

Super Puzzle Fighter (PS1): pretty fun, mindless kind of game. loves it.

It's pretty fun, got some neat concepts for sure. The little typos in the translation drive me batty, though, and I sure wish that Bolt would move a little faster than he does, Jesus Christ.

It's okay. Ridge Racer pretty much demolishes it in the pure racing aspect, I never feel like I have control over my car. Crash mode is pretty fun, and the not just racing races are fun too. My copy locks up occasionally, though, and I lost my receipt. Sucks.
