Racing games pretty much aren't getting remakes, even remasters are rare. Off the top of my head I can only name one remake (CTR) and two remasters from recent years - Burnout Paradise and NfS Hot Pursuit.

These guys do gods work. They jump into this 90's FPS void, which are mostly forgotten to time. And their ports are better. Like, Powerslave Exhumed was better than the original. Doom 64 too.

NOLF, SiN, Thief are all good picks.

IIRC they've wanted to do NOLF forever but it's in rights hell. Not happening.

SOF is a good one but maybe license issues with the guns?

SOF 1 is 100% fake guns. SOF 2 is real(ish) guns with generic names.

It'd be great to get a proper upgrade of SOF 2. The first one's... okay, but 2 is a much better game.

No, that's actually a decent game. Simple and fun TPS with tight gameplay and a lot of satisfying brutality. Recommended.

Aliens Colonial Marines. There were a lot of bugs in the game, but there was also a lot of potential (amazing assets, level design, music). The modders have already made drastic improvements to this game, such as enhancing the AI and rebalancing the weapon stats. They have also removed ugly blue colour grading. However, a remastered version created by Nightdive with even more gameplay improvements would do this game justice.

AvP2 would be lovely. A bastard to play with a controller. A few modern tweaks to make this happen would be an instant sale from me.
