Gotcha, didn't know he lived in Japan.
Oh yeah that's right. I forgot the rule states the only people who play Japanese games are the Japanese and the Irrelevant*.

Silly me.

*not a generalization.

Resident Evil 4
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Oh yeah that's right. I forgot how easy it was to mod a Dreamcast and import an old game for a dead system. How daft of me. Seriously!

Thnx for the suggestions guys.

are Baten Kaitos and paper mario turn based?

Paper Mario is turn based, but it's a little more interactive than a normal turn-based RPG, like any other Super Mario RPG before it. It's fun.

It's much more of a traditional RPG, but Skies of Arcadia Legends is also a great game if you've never played the DC original. Highly recommended if you love old school RPGs. Very charming game all-around.

I'd compare it to Squall's gun sword thing in FFVIII. Maybe the combos in Legend of Dragoon?

Mod?
You've heard of the Utopia Disc, right? Even a GameShark can override any need for a mod. US DCs are how cheap, used? Finding the game on ebay is easy as cake, too.

Since the thread didn't specify any sort of territory exceptions, a non-exclusive is a non-exclusive, regardless of region. Right?

Not everybody likes to import, though. Some people may even find the methods used to override the region locks shady. I dunno. For me, if a game only releases for one platform in the region I'm living in, it's an exclusive. In Japan, it's not exclusive. In the US it is.

You see i started this thread and i think it was pretty obvious that when i said GC exclusives i meant in NORTH AMERICA.

Considering I said i bought the Double DAsh Bundle for $100 CANADIAN i think its pretty obvious to anyone with half a brain. Now please stop being an ASS.

Metroid Prime 1 & 2
FZERO GX
Resident Evils (Remake, Zero, 4)
Wind Waker
Luigi's Mansion (just buy it, its tons of fun)
Paper Mario 2
Smash Bros
Pikmin 2
MK Double Dash!!
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Baten Kaitos

Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. It's Super Monkey Ball meets Mario 64. My favorite GC game.

The word exclusive only has one meaning. There is no such thing as a half-exclusive. If the game is on more than one platform then it isn't exclusive. It doesn't really matter if people in certain regions will never get to play the games on their machines, it doesn't change the fact that it is out on two or more consoles.

loads

add
Mario Kart
Mario Party games
Soul Calibur 2 (LINK)
Tales of Symphonia

Cross
Starfox Adventures

The 3 GC RPG's that came out recently are well excellent. I am absorbed in them :D

Tales of Symphonia
Aw damn I was hoping this would get to Page Two before being mentioned.

I just finished this last week and if it wasn't for a) quick battles and b) Sheena's boobies I'd have nothing good to say about the game. Well, OK, at least the voice acting and humor by most of the main people wasn't horrendous but the enemies? Yeesh. The non-skippable text in the optional story scenes was agony too.

Mario Kart: Double Dash
1080: Avalanche
Super Mario Sunshine
F-Zero: GX
Eternal Darkness
Starfox Adventures
Wave Race: Blue Storm
Pikmin
Pikmin 2
Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour
The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Star Wars Rebel Squadron II: Rogue Leader
Star Wars Rebel Squadron III: Rebel Strike
Mario Power Tennis
Super Smash Bros. Melee

That's basically my list of "must haves."

excluding pikmin 1 and 2? because you've already played them, or because you're not interested? now that monkey ball's being ported, they're the only real reason to own a gamecube. mario golf isn't the best iteration of camelot-style golf, but it's still good fun. and if you import at all, mr. driller drill land and the remakes of bonk, adventure island, and star soldier are cool.

I recommend these:

Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Super Mario Sunshine
Mario Kart Double Dash!!
F-Zero GX
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Eternal Darkness Sanity's Requiem
Mario Power Tennis
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

Resident Evil (remake)
Resident Evil Zero

Of all of them, I recommend F-Zero GX the most.

I would recomend other regional exclusives or games where the GC has the best version too but you didn't ask for those.

Not that I want to back up your relentless, unwarranted Cube bashing, but I have to point out that the Hudson remakes are also available on (import) PS2. :(

RE4 (opps not exclusive anymore)
Zelda (the new one not WW)
MP
MP2:E
Beach Spikers
SMS
RS2: RL
RS3: RS
F-ZERO GX
Zelda WW

Metroid Prime 1 and 2
Mario Pizower Tennis
Mario Sunshine
Mario Golf Toadstool Tour
F-Zero GX
Donkey Konga
Resident Evil (and RE4 when it comes out)

I'm playing MGS: TTS now. It's good, controls seem a little cumbersome. Maybe because i'm used to the PS2 setup for MGS3.
