Playing Dvorak 9 under the baton of Leonard Slatkin on the twelfth. That's gonna be really awesome.

None.... :( I wish I could see more, but I don't know ANYONE who goes to concerts often at all let alone shows that I would like. This in Chicago no less.

I just missed a Magnetic Fields show this past weekend, and I won't be seeing the Pixies during their tour. Sigh. No shows for me.

Have any extra tickets? :(

TBA in 2005: Super Furry Animals w/ Whoever They Fucking Want (Please be Gorky's Zygotic Mynci)

I wish they'd play with The Flaming Lips, though... But that'd just mean 30 minutes of SFA and two hours of The Flaming Lips.

They've got a weird thing going on, though. Past headline tours include Papa M and Stephen Malkmus. Fortunately I like both of those, I just find it a tad confusing.

Dec 18 - Stars [maaaaaaaaaybe.]
Jan 21 - Bright Eyes

and ... why the hell is Metric playing on the same night as Bright Eyes? That's like the 3rd time I've missed them.

**checks chireader.com**

I'm hurting financially at the moment, but I'll stop just short of prostituting myself to make sure I see Spoon @ the Double Door on 12/17.

Looks like I'll be spending New Years Eve @ Empty Bottle with 90 Day Men and the Ponys. Hmmm, not bad.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, you're Scottish?

I am going to follow Bright Eyes around for a few months on the upcoming tour. I will seduce Conor.

*blush* Haha, I'm glad someone thinks so! I should probably move to America, maybe I'd get more of the sex with my accent. Or not.

We still have to make our final plans for Saturday, Element and DistantMantra.

Also, anyone interested in seeing MOTHERFUCKING SLINT in March?

Magnolia Electric Co. on tour... MOTHERFUCKER.

**runs to investigate a possible Chicago date**

Edit- You had to play WI, MN, and IA didn't you Mr. Molina?

You had to tease me by dancing around (literally) my zone. Well, you still own my ass and i'm still your bitch. Please scratch on a Chicago date?

Are you shitting me? We got a terrible not so silent night. All these shitty nu-metal bands... even Papa Roach.

Has problems recognising girls
Whenever The Boat People (local Australian band) are playing next, missed their single CD launch (and tons of alcohol for the after-party) and their in-store so I'll have to make up for it. Sorry fella's.

Was planning on going to Big Day Out music fest and meet up with a few guys around the state but the Gold Coast show is dated a few days after I leave for Singapore so I'm a bit miffed. But hey, at least Radiohead aren't headliners.. then I would literally shit bricks.

As for the future, dunno. Nothing in the next few months has perked my interest. Wouldn't have minded to go see R.E.M. on their Australian tour but not that big of a fan, just a few selective songs.

His tour is of "Cities in cold states that start with an M or a D." Sorry, dude. This is probably the one time like ever I'll get to see a show you don't.

Classic Case is playing on Dec 10th so I'll check that out. Modest Mouse is playing a benefit in January so I'll probably goto that as well. I've been a big fan for awhile, but tickets are 30 bucks.

pjberri

Crotchety Old Man
Sage Francis next friday and The Big Day Out in January.
Some other gigs worth seeing will almost definitely be on, too—I remember seeing Blackalicious and GangStarr in the month of the BDO last year. :)

8 December - "Live" @ Metro City Perth
9 December - "Grinspoon" @ Metro City Fremantle

(Australia)

Live kicked so much arse!

16 December, St Louis
-Ho Ho Show
--Cake, Jimmy Eat World, some other bands I'm not very familiar with.

No Pixies for me... they aren't coming to town... :(

Tomorrow night in Seattle, the radio holiday show lineup is:
Modest Mouse, Killers, Keane, Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, and The Shins.

Too bad I have a final at 8am the next morning 105 miles away, or I'd be there.

Yeah, the Seattle show is a little bit better than the San Francisco one. Well, it has The Shins and all. No Muse though. Oh well, they both rock!

Well, the girlfriend and I are gonna get to Neumo's around 8pm or so to check out Earlimart. I'll probably have my hair in some spiky shape as usual, wearing my geek glasses, tan shoes, jeans, some sort of dress shirt and my handy dandy I-bought-it-before-someone-decided-they-were-cool-so-lets-sell-them-everywhere brown cord blazer.

Are we still on for a Holiday NWGAF get together between 12/22 and 12/28? I'm game.
