Just so everyone knows, I know there're still multiplayer betas, but it just seems strange that they're less of them. I've played them before, lets have a look.







For those who don't know, multiplayer betas let you experience the game's online multiplayer before it officially launches, the whole time you're "testing" the servers, finding bugs but really just having fun.

Why are there less of these things today? What beta's have you participated it?

Three words: Releasing Unfinished Games.

A Beta means consumers can see how the overall quality of a game, if they see the MP is crap, a lot of buyers will jump ship

Who needs betas when you can just use paying customers as beta testers?

They rebranded betas to Early Access so you have to pay for beta testing.
