Ahhhh i see. Well seems like DISH was smart, they got Voom programing on DISH now.Nerevar said:

actually voom's channels are available to everyone. cable and satellite. Dish is the only one carrying them currently though. Rumor is/was that DirecTV was going to carry all 21 channels starting this summer as well, but now with the problems Arianne is having with their rockets it looks like DirecTV's second major satellite will just be sitting on the launchpad until at least fall, along with their additional HD channels they were hoping to announce the middle of this month........

Yeah that's more acurate. I just did some research and it looks like all 21 VOOM channels will be availible on DISH sometime in 2006. I'm sure it will appear on the other providers, DISH just got it out of the gate earlier. Good news for us HDTV owners. DISH just happened to have more satellite capability than DirectTV at the time. I love how the play of Dish and DirectTV makes them better and forces the cable guys to actually push out new features.
