There's no WAY I am playing "deep" fighting games on the internet. Forget it. I already know what a gay-jew-fag-nigger I am from playing Halo - I don't need to find out what I am in a fighting game.

Most people who play online don't have mics since their arcade sticks don't support it. I'd say 90% of my random games on Third Strike have been quiet.

DoA is an exceedingly mediocre fighting game. If DOA2/3/whatever had been multiplatform from the start nobody would give a shit about it.

the people complaining about the length of the hold window apparently have no idea how to play DOA...

holds have 0 execution frames, 22 active frames and 8 (5 for low) recovery frames...

so that's half a second the opponent is standing there waiting to be thrown...

no, throwing isn't cheap, and yes, there's a reason throws get bonus damage when your opponent is thrown during their hold animation...

hell, all the real DOA players complain alot more about the 6/7 execution frames for throws because that makes so many moves throw counterable!

Do I do that? I usually hit mute in a vain attempt to reduce lag during matches.
