Xbox for my first person shooters, third party purchases and Gamepass. It has the best controller on the market hands down with the elite. Back buttons for life
paying $70 for first party titles is kind of wack according to my wallet.
I do have a PS5 but it looks like it's just going to be a Spider-Man only machine again this gen. FF16 looks awesome but it will eventually be on gamepass once the exclusivity deal is over.
PC? I thought it was wiser to keep it as is and just buy the two new consoles instead.
I've kind of morphed into an Xbox gamer over Playstation over the years. My friends game on Xbox so since 360 I've been hooked there for a while. But I still game a ton on my PS4. Playstation is 100% single player for me. It's weird but Xbox has always felt like this busy platform with lots going on when I log in but Playstation is like this quiet calm oasis where I know it's just me and my single player (and exclusive) adventures.
Playstation for myself and Nintendo for the kids. Its just what Ive always played. Every Year I swear I am going to get an Xbox too but I just never end up finding the a reason to justify the second console when I never have enough time to play the first. One of these days when im not working so much I will get that XBOX.
When I was growing up I was all about the PS2 and loved that library, when the gen shifted I got an Xbox 360.
Up until like 2011 it was Xbox 360 and I made many great friends through that system and loved playing Halo 3.
I had been through a couple of 360 consoles and had them break down on me, so I eventually switched to PS3 for the free online and then got a PS4. Basically where I've at been at for a while now.
I'll likely be getting a PS5 and then a Series S someday for Game Pass.
Variety of games, graphics and flexibility of modding things is always going to be best on PC so thats my choice. Consoles can surprise you as well graphics-wise ofc but actual IQ is almost always better on PC as long as you have high end HW.
