I watched the original star wars movies (eps 4-6) so much as a kid that I could recite most of the lines from them.

I no longer care about the Star Wars universe as much as I used to, though. My childhood is dead.

I've seen Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome an assload of times as well, and many more viewings of it than the first two. Movie is awesome, haters be damned.

The beginning is ok, especially the duel, but it goes downhill when Max leaves the bartertown, and it lacks a memorable villain, like Wez & Humungus in the 2nd part of the series. Not to mention, that the car chase in the end is (at best) a B-grade copy of the one in Mad Max 2. The whole movie is like Mad Max for children. Plus, the theme song sucks. [/Mr. Negative]
