PS5 + PS Portal would be 90%
10% Switch

I have a Series X, but I don't think I turned it on once in 2024.

Switch, and then pc, followed by ps5, Xbox x, wii then my mini consoles.

I have a steam deck, but used it more last year. Switch HS been my number until astrobot then silent hill and now stalker on Xbox. Thing is I only play those on weekends. Switch is everyday in between things and pc is here and there on slow times at work, and then just pausable city builders, roguelike or strategy games.

SonyGaf strikes again

How many times has that been proven false now?

Switch with Shiren, Balatro, Mario RPG, Thousand Year Door, Unicorn Overlord, Echoes of Wisdom, and Dragon Quest III.

PS5. Gonna turn my Switch on for the first time in a year for a flight this week. Turned my Xbox on twice all year to check out COD, dreadful year from them.

90's - it was 85% PC, 15% Consoles (Ps1, SNES, Neo Geo etc)
00's - 60% PC, 20% OG Xbox and Xbox 360, 10% Ps2, Ps3, 10% Phone and others like Dreamcast
10's - 10% PC, 75% Xbox 360, Xbox One and One X, 15% Ps3 and Ps4
20's - 95% Xbox Series X, 5% PS5
This year - 100% Xbox Series X

I pulled these numbers out of my ass, but they feel right, you know.

PC by some margin. Hardly spent any on consoles outside a handful of PS exclusives and a few games and classics on PS+ Premium.

Everything else has been main PC or on the Steam Deck.

Mostly ps5. The only games I played on my switch were trails to azure and Kirby. Played a little bit on my pc. Barely turned on my xbox.

Depending on the time of the year due to game releases the last month I've been playing a lot more on PS5 because of silent hill and Dragon Dogma 2...but I think in generally i spend more time on Xbox than PS5 during the year.

It also depends where I found the cheapest copy, but I do have much more games on Xbox than PlayStation.

Switch I spend more out of house...in fact I don't remember last time I olay at home lol
I always on while going to work and on my holidays.

80% Xbox
20% Switch

Played a couple of games to completion on Switch which were great, played them non stop (Skyward Sword, Dread).

Then started Mario Wonder. Thats a snoozefest, has become kinda roadblock for playing Switch. Else it would have been higher. Maybe I should drop it?

PC is #1 as usual.

Hundreds of hours of Elden Ring and Erdtree and lots of hours on Starfield, Black Myth, COD, Forbidden West, TLOUp1, Tsushima, Zero Dawn Remastered, bunch of beat'em ups and more. And now I basically only play Stalker 2 which is my GOTY. Jumping into Indy soon. The platform is just growing for me, Gabe is king.

PS5 is #2 this year.

Last year I only used my PS5 18 hours according to Sony's stats. Was my least used platform. This year was better. Only one bot left on Astro Bot, that took awhile, enjoyed that a ton. And I've played some Stellar Blade as well.

Xbox Series x is #3.

I played some MW3 during the summer. About 7 hours total on the platform, record low for me.

Switch is last.

There was nothing there for me this year. But for the kids it's #1. Lots of Minecraft, the new Zelda, Animal Crossing, Marty Party, some Tears and Mario Wonders.
Waiting for Switch 2.

Meta should be in the vote? Believe it or not, it's a platform of its own!

My vote is on Switch! Second would be PC.

100% PC, I haven't touched my Switch this year.

That will change next year with Xenoblade X though.

Probably 55% - 45% Steam to PS5.

I put about 200 hours into FFVII Rebirth and that was the only game I played on PS5 this year.

The 100 into Metaphor, 30 into Silent Hill 2, 60 into Infinite Wealth and about 40 into Shadow of the Erdtree were on Steam.

Truly has been the year of JRPGs.

PS4.

I found a store that sells second hand games, and i've been buying them for cheap and play them regularly. Comfy af.

PS, Xbox and Switch wrap-up is coming soon, btw (probably next week). :p

Surprisingly I thought my PC usage this year would be at the bottom, but for the past couple of weeks or so I've been playing a lot on PC because both Wuthering Waves and Heaven Burns Red are PC/Mobile only.

So I guess the ranking would be PS5>Xbox Series X>PC>Switch.

My ps5 slim digital is so loud its annoying and its making me avoid using it. I play all my games on the Xbox which is dead silent in comparison.

PlayStation 100%. My PC is still on a GTX 1050 and I only ever game on it with GoG fare or...other things I'm not even sure we're allowed to talk about anymore. I don't feel very comfortable gaming at my PC with all my vision problems when I have a PS5 Pro hooked up to a 58" TV I can sit a two feet in front of and see everything I need to.

Most of it on PS5, by far. I did finish Thousand Year Door on Switch and started Another Code as well. Switch just didn't get a lot of love this year.

Xbox probably. GamePass plus all the coop games were too good to pass on. But since the Pro dropped I've been pretty much exclusively on that. So its close
